Repairing equipment?

I know this sounds ridiculous but I'm already a lvl 17 blademaster and i have been switching equipment so much that nothing ever broke until now. Is there a way to repair them that i'm just obviously overlooking? Also how much does it cost?

    When you open the trade window with NPC's, such as the Merchant, there's a repair and repair all button on the bottom right. The cost varies depending on how often you repair. I try to repair everytime I visit the merchant, so for me it ranges between 400-1500 each time.
