    Yes, just to be clear. The mount will be in the cash shop for only two weeks. Should you happen to purchase the Ancient Boa during these two weeks, you will indeed have it forever.

    That is unless you decide to sell it in game for a hefty coin price tag. ;)

    Did anyone notice the strange typo in the BOA event?
    Monday September 29, 2008

    Starting today, for a limited time only, the Ancient Boa will be for sale in the cash shop.

    Level 20 OMG!

    The Ancient Boa will be available for two weeks until October 6th. Note that it is usable from level 20 and up!

    Uhhhhh. If it's 2 weeks, seems that the event is 7 days. That's rather confusing.

    My apologies for the confusion. The Ancient Boa will be in the cash shop until October 13th, the news story on the front page has been corrected to reflect this date. :)

    personally (and i own both a polar bear and a Kirin)...I prefer the bear! the Kirin is so big when you zoom out and look at your surroundings, in 3rd person, it just takes up so much of the screen(big fat head) it just kinda obstructs view...and i run in 1280x1024. I'll take the bear with spurs of alacrity anyday and I dump the dragon around on my alts as need be.

    i may be wrong, but it also looks like this thing is BIG... however... being atop the head area when mounted, 'cept for that portion of the saddle that jutts up... hmmm.... hard to say if this thing even appeals to me if only for a "status symbol". lol

    i JUST bought my Kirin and i doubt they will refund my Zen (scowls) for the newly perm.-reduced price either. Don't get me wrong, i like land mounts cuz they MOVE so damn fast! But i am still finding the Polar Bear mount the best I have purchased so far...if only for the fact his head isn;t always in the way when i am looking out my windshield. :) just thought i'd throw that out there /wave from Druzzil Ro /wink

    nice pics, thx! still wondering how BIG it is compared to a bear? if the bear is 1/2 it's size and scoots along just as fast... well.. the bear wins imo /shrug

    however, thx so much for those pics.. im sure the Boa will be a big hit since its a limited edition

    now yer talkin! you see the relative SIZE of the land mount to the player riding it? that's my point! who cares how "uber" it looks if it isn't "practical"... nothin' worse than going blasting into a bunch of mobs at full speed and not being able to "target" and consider the consequences cuz of a big fat "mount head"... i guess that's what i've been tryng to point out all along.

    If they gave us a FARTHER zoomout, maybe i would spend the cash. But I am NOT about to toss another $50(learned the hard way when i bought Kirin) to have a useless eye-candy mount.... bleh!

    I'll stick with the bears for now :)

    i woulda got the raptor instead of the Kirin at least, ive seen a few around and i think it is smaller than the Kirin.

    You dont have to be a "kid" to get the new mount.

    But one thing for sure tho.. Jealousy is ingame and A lot of it. People telling me how some kids are sending them tells just on the Jag mounts, so i'm 100% sure there be lots of them to those that buys the Snake mount.

    Again so many say they are Mature and an adult and yet ingame they act like lil kids.

    Act like your age ingame and drop the unmature flames ect..
