WHY IS IT THAT LOGS SEEM TO NOT EXIST ON THE SAME PLANE AS?

On a more to-the-point note.
Are there better places than others to harvest logs? Like I've noticed herbs and the like seem to be common on big fields, but logs seem to be nowhere.

apologies if this is a silly question. Just trying to do my duty as a tailor.

    it depends
    to tell you the truth its pretty spread out
    i guess you can find some when you travel
    usually you can find them nearby when you see herbs
    sometimes near coal sandstone ect

    Funny as that may be I often find the stumps for logs or lumber - by trees. I know a path that regularly has 7 stumps spaced apart for log gathering. I also have found some good rough timber stumps nicely placed in a path-like manner. But all seem to be around some trees.b:flower

    The thing about logs is that they are spread apart avoer large areas. If you ever do find one, Remeber to note the location because a log will always spawn there after some time. Keep ur eyes open cause they are small and very invisible. It may help to turn your graphics down as grass and other things like mist may cover the locations.. hope this helps!
