Low Damage?

Barbarian:

Class Summary
Barbarians have evolved from tigers, lions, and other bestial hunters. Fortified for melee combat, the Untamed Barbarian is a natural-born warrior on the battlefield, and is most comfortable taking hits and returning the punishment. These fighters also have plenty of powerful spells at their disposal and can shapeshift into tiger form.
Type: Melee, Tank
Available Weapons: Dual Sword, Dual Blade, Blade, Sword, Scythe, Spear, Club, Poleaxe, Sledgehammer, Dual Handaxes, Dual Hammer, Iron Fist, Sharp Edge
Comments: Highest Physical Defense, Low Damage

I'm now referring to the comments part, where it says Low Damege. Is this supposed to be low damage taken or low damage done to the enemy? Just want to be sure..

    Low damage done to the enemy, compared to say a warrior.

    Well, barbarians have low damage, but they are the hardest class to kill for anyone. Their HP is way too high. Anyway, they aren't good killers either. There acc is low, even if they use the fb79 +50% acc rings.

    After lvl 89 Their damage picks up, not as much as Blademaster, but slightly lower.

    Cheers for responding, I'm trying to find out what class I'll choose, I'm really interested in being either a Blademaster or a Barbarion.

    I was wondering the same thing, but for me, I think I would have more fun as a Barbarian, even if a Blademaster tends to look "nicer"

    another thing is, that with regards to tanking (and actually keeping aggro) for a party a barbarian is priceless :)

    So a barbarian can like, walk on all fours or just grow fur and fangs?

    Dude, a barbarian HAS fur and fangs. But yes, there is a level 9 skill that allows you to turn into a White Tiger, with all the characteristics as one.

    Yeah, it was a bit of a slow start but I'm almost a lvl 40 barb and I'm starting dish out some decent damage. Although it's not as much as my sqaud typically attacks, I rarely have to meditate and I do less damage but I can do it quickly. That's all part of being the tank though. b:pleased

    yes barbs do got kinda really low attacks and low accuracy at low lvls and to be honest they r one of the most boring and hardest char to pay with at low lvls b:surrendercause, for example a well stated bm at lvl 28 does avg attack of abt 400 to 600 and with skils abt 800, but a barb at the same lvl only does abt 200 to 400 plus they miss a whole lot more than bm due to their lack of dex points.b:shocked

    But once a barb hits abt lvl 60 this is where the fun begins cause u start hand out some decent damage :P
    once u hit lvl 77 u can get the +50% right to solve ur low accuray and by end game barbs just pwn.b:pleased
    i did say once u hit 70+ barbs r one of the best chars to play the game with b:laugh

    Simple answer... play a Barb.
    Iv tried every class/race in this game and well in my opinion I cant stand them when i play them. I always end up crawling back to my barb.
