Hi I have a few questions about my build and skills.
So far everytime I lvl I try and get as many spirit points as I can so I can level every skill that comes out in the skill shop, its so far so good but I keep getting less and less spirit points even when I grind.Am I doing something wrong?
Also my build so far is that I upgrade Vit +1, Mag+2,and Dex+2 with the occaisional +5 on magic every few levels,is this a good build because I keep dieing no matter how many Items I imbue with a physical defense buff.I hate having to rely on parties(they take my best Items after I make the kill:mad:) but I keep dieing in only a few hits so is there a way to amp up my wizard.
Please post tips and maybe a few of your builds that have proved succesful!

Well of course it may seem you are getting less and less skillpoints. Each time you level a skill it takes more skill points to advance it further. Because of this, you should always try to make good choices as to what skills you want to learn earlier on. For example, you would most likely want to max out all the 3 basic elemental spells. You should choose one shield spell and work on that. Etc...

Are you missing something when u said your build? It seems like you don't have any strength in it at all which is the requirement for wearing robes. Also, no wiz adds dex unless they're going for a light armor build. Seeing as to how you don't have any strength at all i don't know what armor you're wearing right now honestly.
Vit is not very important for a wiz because we naturally have lower health anyway. And adding just one to it every level isn't going to give a significant boost in health.

What i recommend as an easy starter build is going pure wiz. The basic outline is to level up one strength and 9 mag every 2 levels. It's easy to follow and monsters will go down quickly with your high magic.

Imo there's nothing wrong with being a light armor build (str/dex requirements for armor met, rest into int), but I don't see a point in vit. I mean, at least you benefit from light/heavy armor when your earth shield comes into play (pvp/pk). Since the wand requires str to use as well, I'm gonna guess you have some of that too.. but that doesn't tell me if you're using light or heavy.. o_o No matter what armor you're using though, there's no point in adding Vit as the above poster said. It just doesn't help enough. You're better off killing your enemies before they reach you than doing lower damage and trying to tank the enemy when it gets close.

Personally, I prefer the pure build and having someone else do the tanking for me while I stand back and nuke, though. There's hardly any risk of death, and having to use potions is a rare occurence. Keeping life powders on hand for accidents is always helpful, but you rarely need them that way. When party's set to random drops, everyone's gonna get something eventually, but it's better to party with friends when you can so you can trade drops with them for the ones you need. If you really don't want to party, maybe you should look into Venomancers. :s

In your position, I'd probably just remake because of the vit, but I'm biased so whatever. If you are going to use armor other than robes, I recommend getting the minimum dex/str to equip your armor (light would be a better choice than heavy imo because with heavy your damage would be too low, and magic attacks would hit you very hard) and weapons, and not adding vit (meaning the rest goes into int). There's just no way a Wizard can get the kind of def/hp that a Veno has at their disposal without gimping their damage, so just keep looking for people to party with that you can be friends with and swap drops or join a guild.

thank you for the help but I use robes for armor,I only upped my Dexterity to get a better evasion rate.
I have enough strength to use the new wand but I still have to upgrade my magic to 80 still(its only 65 right now.)
i' thinking of restarting totally on this character but after spending so much time on this character I feel like it was all for nothing.

Sorry for the bad news man. If you don't restart now you're gonna feel the grind later on. Even characters who have followed a strict status point allotment have it hard in the later levels.

Perfect World isn't exactly compromising when it comes down to putting stat points in the wrong places. Unless that is if u plan to buy gazillions in cash shop stuff.
