Patching is taking a long time

Patching is taking a really long time, any suggestions on how to fix this?

    is it getting stuck trying to download badwords.txt?...

    its been at updating... Tasks.data for over 3 hours

    I thought it was a PWI problem too until I did a VisualRoute lite trace to 64.74.217.11 and noticed a couple of servers with 30% packet loss and up to a 3000 ping along the way. During that time, it wouldn't patch. After running a few traces and seeing when those errant servers behaved, I quickly fired up PWI and it patched ok. It took a couple of tries but I eventually got it patched. Perhaps this will help you as well?

    HAH my entire downloading takes 30 hours, top that...
