Quest arrows (tracking)

I noticed that the tracking arrows point where the NPC that you turn in the quest are, even if you haven't finished the quest.

I think that is flawed. It should probably point where the mobs you kill are.

that would be too easy, it wouldn't be a quest, it be an order. It the quest info was translated or initially done correctly it should hint at where the mobs are, but I have already accepted some quests that don,t and so I have no idea where to finds the mobs with those drops.

The mobs are usually around the quest giver. If you aren't told, then it's probably a quest for items that can only be gotten from doing other things, and is not meant to be done at that level. Or it's a hand in quest, for stuff like the rewards from race tokens or Dragon Quest coins (No idea of the translation here, but probably Archosaur coins, ugh).

Being told exactly where the mobs are makes the ques too easy, like edx said.

i would say that if that is your definition of a quest, they should not tell where the mobs are to begin with. like "too the northwest of whatevertown".
I agree with infusion that the arrowtracker is flawed. it should either direct you to the quest area or not be there at all as long as you haven't finnished it. look at the way Carbonite tracks in WoW (for those who play and use Carb add on) it directs you too the area and tracks also like the tracker in PW questlog (wich let's me to the idea that either Carb used the idea of PWI and made it better, or PWI used Carbs idea but couldn't port it right)

track right or don't track at all... i KNOW where i got the quest, don't need an arrow for that, i want to know wich way to go
