Non Veno Pets

My main character is an archer and i just heard that we too can have pets (just that they won't help in battle). So my question is.... what do the pet do? Just follow me around all the time? And do i have to feed it if its not doing anything? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, the only thing all-class pets do is follow you around and look cute. I don't think you have to feed them.

Thanks. And would you happen to know if the pet would die... as in would it get aggro when i run through mobs?

As far as I know, they don't trigger aggro and are not attackable by mobs. So they can't die, like let's say your panther mount or horse or flying mount can't die or take dmg...
