"Update Server Under Maintenence" This is getting ridiculous!

After 18 Hours I finally got the auto=patch down for Game 13

Logged in twice...NOW says
"Update Server Under Maintenence , Please do try again later"

WTF?? What the hell is wrong now?

This is getting just plain ridiculous...

How to change your portrait from ? to you.
1.) logout, login
2.) on your login picture click "change" (sample)

    err I asume you mean Version 12 well I was able to update to Version 13 last night (wanted to play but getting it update it tired me so I went to bed x_X)

    EDIT: lol you edited post o_O I almost didn't noticed
    hmm well as add I was able to login game right after I updated I check it again when I come back if you still have prob login in game then you should say it or try at suport

    this is seriously getting annoying, ever heard of a replacement update server while the main one is under maintainence? I do work as a network architect at an ISP/Host company with over 200 thousand customers.. We NEVER have servers offline without a replacement in place.. it's like telling your 100k+ customers oh I'm sorry, but our edge routers are currently down, please come back tomorrow..

    yeah i'm just annoyed.. and maybe its our country's stupid proxy server caching stuff again -.- i will just call it a night... two nights in a row...

    So why doesn't your hosting company come out with an MMO then, huh?

    PWE is not a hosting company, it is a video game company. If you want to find an MMO with zero downtime then good freaking luck to you.

    I'm sorry to tell you, but there are alot of companys out there with servers on zero down time policy, people run things like VMServers with multi billion dollar equipments that redistribute and restart within 10 seconds on server failure. There are redundant server clusters that can rebalance load if any one of them go down. Tell me do you see Amazon going down for more than an hour?

    Game servers are no different in any way, ISPs run servers far more critical than a game.

    And yes, I have deployed hundreds of blades, routers and link switches, I know when something can be done

    I'm going to take a wild guess and say that PWE has 0 multi billion dollar equipments to service your every needs. Even the top MMO out there today World of Warcraft has server down time and issues relating to their servers. I'm sorry to tell you, but what you are asking of a company that provides a FREE TO PLAY game service is a bit... out of scope.

    Just be glad that this isn't a subscription based game, and thus being charged with server down time, or patching issues. Then they would have to start reimbursing our time like WoW does....

    I have PW running on 2 systems now.

    One system says Update Server under maintenace
    Other system logs in fine

    The "down for maintaince" system seems to have been solved by running 'Verify Files" and is working again
    Which leads me to believe the "Server Down message" was BS.

    I have a working system finally 2 days after patch....
    At least until they frak it up again on the next update...

    well I login fine only hicup I got was getting stuck while update as usuly in fact I am right now in game just AFK as Shop in west arch :D

    i had to reformat my pc & i re d/led the game client & i been having problems with the files need up dating it gets 1/2 to the end of em then telles me theres a file error / bt when i close it out & restart it / it starts back up where it left off & then the same thing happens in 5 mins / how can i get the updates to work so i can long on to play the game / i been @ this now for 3 days . can some 1 help me pls & tyvm

    the servers are fine...geez ppl give them some slack, its not like they arent trying to fix them. the game was released here in the US not to long ago, its still gonna have some problems.
