Discounted Clothes

Since the clothes I bought last week are discounted, can I get some of my Zen back? I feel kind of jipped that I spent the money and now it's easier to get them.

And the TV I just bought at the store last week is now on sale!! I want a refund because I just HAD to have it then but now it's not fair that they lowered the price on the TV I bought...
Would that work in the real world? Move on...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

It actually does in the real world. In the US, you have I believe 1-3 months to return your merchandise. In this case you would be returning it and buying it again at sale price.
But this is PW, they won't do that0 -

Several stores do that.... If you buy something within 14 days of a sale price at Target, they give you a refund for the difference. Hence why I was asking. Don't be a jerk.0 -
luhoran, I do apologize. I did come off rather harsh. And yes, I do know that it is up to each individual store's Sales Policy as to whether they will or will not allow customers to do exactly as you say. It is not a law, however, nor is it universely practiced. I personally disagree with this policy, but that's me. I am in Sales (thank God not retail because I would have to come over the counter at some of the hair brained ideas customers come up with to scam retailers!). My view is that even if the price was lowered after the purchase, the customer still was able to enjoy the merchandise longer than someone who was either unable to buy at the higher price, or chose not to purchase at the higher price because they didn't place the same value on the item as the price reflected.
You apparently did place the same value on the items as the price they were charging, which is perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with that. But by doing so, and buying those items at the higher price, you now say that they aren't worth that much to you and you want a refund because now you want to value them at the current selling price. That part is what never makes sense to me (not just with your situation, but all customers that think along those lines).
Do refunds happen as a result of this thinking? In some instances, yes they do, but not always. I just can't justfiy it, personally, because it was important enough, and valued enough at the higher price to warrant a purchase in the first place.
I do wish you the best of luck in your endeavors in this matter, though my opinion does differ.
And again, I do apologize for being a jerk and perhaps not taking the time to fully explain where I was coming from.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
the validity to his request isnt unfounded. there is a 77 page sticky discussing the whole implications.
