    Thanks for the files guys, I got the tasks.data working but now I'm stuck at iconlist_guild.dds :P

    This is so frustrating.. if only they would make a manual patcher seems like that's really not too much to ask. Some of us have spent quite a lot of real money on this game, only to be stuck waiting for a patch to work.

    iconlist_guild.dds is my problem as well, now that I'm past the usual elements/task.

    My iconlist finally got working but there's a problem with some chinese character.dds
    Stuck at the same spot. If it works i'll upload the files for you guys.

    EDIT: Loads of chinese files after iconlist, it's still downloading. And I don't know how I'll be able to find those chinese characters cause I don' have east asian language pack installed. And I asked a friend of mine to search for icon list, but he said he couldn't find it. I think the iconlist.dds and such files get hidden or embedded into other files or something cause I'm not able to find them using the search function.

    Zeo i am now stuck at the chinese character.dds as well......and people wonder why young kids commit suicide over games

    i'm having problems downloading the new elementclient.exe :p
    the rest is downloaded :p after many tries though

    EDIT: finally worked, everything is downloaded. if anyone would need some files, i'll upload it

    do you happen to have the .dds file thats chinese characters?

    Stuck again at b02.dds
    For all those who keep getting stuck at certain points, just restart the patcher again but this time select the "resume download" option. Don't select the Download again function.

    EDIT: there are so many .dds files that you can't even find them. And I can't even find iconlist.dds so I donno where they might be hidden. If I did find them however, I'd glady upload it. And I'm also wondering why the number of posts for problems have reduced lol. It's only me and you now I guess.

    Grrr...i stopped and restarted the download and now it seems to have actually backtracked! I was up to tasks.data, now its back to the elements.data one again...lol. My boyfriend's is at tasks.data. *Sigh*

    zeo i have restarted with "resume" selected for 4 hours now.....

    Amberrr, the file you gave was broken I guess, cause I couldn't download it. Earlier, like an hour ago I sent a private message to mysticism and he EDITED his post and added the new link in megaupload so I doubt if anyone noticed it. The megaupload file WORKS, so I'm pasting the link here again. Here's the link for those who are having problems with tasks.data and elements.data.

    Extract the tasks.data and elements.data to your "data" folder and then make a backup of the old files and delete it. It should work.


    :) as for my personal update status.. I got past the chinese char problem, then there's gonna be a problem at bo2.dds... and a huge problem at iconlist_j\trf.dds
    I donno how to get the chinese chars, or even the other files cause I'm not able to locate them on my folder.

    Finally got it working! All the files updated~
    The .dds files are directly added to some major file I guess, so I'm not able to locate the other files.

    I was stalling at tasks.data as well but if you let the patcher time out, just click retry and it will progress past that file for you.

    It did stop again on a file with 2 asian characters.bon file clicking the retry button didn't work 2 times but restarting the patcher by that point did.

    just make sure your patcher settings are set to resume. so you don't try and redownload all the prior files you already completed.

    EDIT: =O It's getting stuck at tasks.data again now! Yay! I mean...um...still suck. -_- Be very quiet...don't scare it...

    what sux most about this...(and to me SOOO many things about this suck) is that not any administrator has bothered to give any answers suggestions tips or hints...its all from players (thank you all so much) but its like they cant be bothered
