Updates don't work

I finally got the game downloaded and installed, had to do manual patch but did get it to work yesterday. Today, I tried to log in and got to updating files and it stopped. I restarted my pc and shut everything else off and got the elements.data to update, but am stuck on tasks.data now, and nothing I do will make it work. Any suggestions?

    anyone who has updated the game successfully can upload the elements.data and the other files... ,zip it then upload it and the people whose client aren't working can make the replacements ^^; and can successfully update it but i wonder if people would help <.<;;:confused:

    ps: 1st to be uploaded is elements.data zipped >_> or the whole data folder >.>; [zipping it first] =d

    I tried all the tips about getting through the updates, and it worked til I got to iconlist guilds.dds. Now it is stuck again and nothing is working. I give up!

    Ok, so some people are having issues with patching to the latest version of the game, from within the game's front end.

    This patch is larger then previous ones, and takes some time to compile in the background.

    If you are Auto Updating the patch, try exiting the game if it doesn't look like it is making progress patching after 10-15 minutes.

    Exit the game, restart the game and resume the patching process. If it hangs again, try again another few times after 1-15 minutes with each try.

    We are aware of the patching issues some of you are having and are working to figure out the issues with the last few patches.

    There are no manual patches at this time for the current version.

    We ask you to be patient, and to keep trying.

    There was an issue with the patch that we applied last night; a new one went live this morning (version 13).

    Please be patient while waiting for the patch to install, as it is somewhat larger than the previous patches. Even if it appears to have frozen, wait a few minutes to see if it resumes. There are processes that are running in the background that compile the patch files but may not necessarily progress the status bar. If it still hasn't moved after waiting for at least three or four minutes, exit the launcher and then restart it and resume the patch; this will usually solve the problem.

    If you are still having problems with patching your game, please submit a ticket to tech support.
