Auto Patching

Everytime I boot PW the patching always stops at tasks.data. I've tried several times to either restart d/l or resume updating and it still get's stuck. I'm thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling PW, but does reinstalling PW affect my character files? Thx

    no reinstall doesnt affect your character i have recently reinstalled the system on my comp along with PW and my character still has same lvl's etc :)

    There was an issue with the patch that we applied last night; a new one went live this morning (version 13).

    Please be patient while waiting for the patch to install, as it is somewhat larger than the previous patches. Even if it appears to have frozen, wait a few minutes to see if it resumes. There are processes that are running in the background that compile the patch files but may not necessarily progress the status bar. If it still hasn't moved after waiting for at least three or four minutes, exit the launcher and then restart it and resume the patch; this will usually solve the problem.

    If you are still having problems with patching your game, please submit a ticket to tech support.
