    If you can kill them that way without taking a single hit or your pet, you are abusing a bug and that is bannable.

    I'd agree with that one for sure.

    I have killed water monsters with my flying pet before, though my pet was taking damage just like always. I even got too close to the water once when I was flying and the water monster still damaged me before my pet gained agro.

    It bugs like 1/4 of the time, not quite sure why. Otherwise most of the time when I'm killing water mobs with a flying pet they fight back like usual.

    Let's see...

    Mob resets if it can't hit you (most of the time), you do less damage to the mob, and you can still die from ranged attacks. Can't see how that's illegal.

    +1 to that. It's much faster (at least 2x) to kill from the water, and not really much more dangerous.

    This is useful in a swamp, where all other pets de-spawn in the middle of a fight, due to water not being deep enough, and or not enough dry land.
