Logon Screen Music

any1 knows where can i find and download the beat that some times plays at the logon screen, its pretty cool, i would listen tot that ingame music then the usual tracks ;)

    Open up the music folder and listen through them until you find it?

    i heard the the PW MY client have music files inside a folder when you install it, im not sure if they are the same tracks anyway.

    yes, the in game music is cool but usually out of context...

    at this path: Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\music there is actually no music but a folder with ambient sound,
    i think the beat is either in gfx.pck or sfx.pck files, does any1 know how can i exact/open/browse those packs???:confused:

    To extract the music files from the "sfx.pck" archive in the "element" folder of your game directory:

    Get pwpack.

    (if you can't open the downloaded file, you need 7zip)

    Put pwpack in the same directory as "sfx.pck". Create a new text document in that directory and paste this text into the document:

    pwpack.exe -x sfx.pck

    Save the document, close it, then change the text document to a batch file by showing file extensions in explorer and changing the ".txt" extension to ".bat". Open your batch file and voila! After a brief command prompt window appearance, a folder should appear in that same directory containing everything that was in the .pck archive. The music should then be in:

    sfx.pck.files\sfx\music

    The files are OGG Vorbis files, so you'll need to have something that can play them like Winamp, or else convert them to mp3 or whatever you use with a program like SUPER.

    Pay attention to the date of the post on the last post before you post please.
    If it's more than one month, please do not post on it.
