i had not been around that long . through the time i got to admit it look nice and is fun .
though i notice something with surprised me . call me a newb but i slowly got some normal gold on my character and thought "hey why not spend some on good deal with other players in their shop" . well that was untill the shock and surprise hit me ..it almost impossible to find -reasonable- deals . if we move our mouse cursor over item we see the price a NPC shop keeper would pay . this kinda form the standard economany (sp) . so i got really shock ingame  cotton thread with standard price is 60 ...being sold in a player shop and people ask about 3k-4k for a single one ?? .

now i ofcourse understand it a havestable item ..you need to use time to collect and ofcourse i could see it being sold a -little higher- then standard ...supply and demand and that but asking almost 500% if not more then standard vaule of a item is ..wow !!!!! .

there is effective two economany ingame really . the standard set by the NPC price then the 'royal suite of epic old player' . no offence to old player ofcourse , just to show a point ;)

maybe put some kind a limitation ingame such a scale people could use to set a sale price compair to the item sat vaule or something ??

The threads are 'rare' drops from enemies. They don't drop as often as one would like, so of course the price is hiked up. You can't purchase threads either from NPCs. And when selling to NPCs, it's always a low price.

It always happens in a MMORPG. All you can really do is search for items yourself or hope to find a good deal.

Well, the cotton thread was probably only example. I don't understand why herbs are 3k for example. People are selling for 3k and buying for 200... Something wrong here. O.o

Yeah I never understood that either. If you see a person buying for 200 and a person selling them, that should send a red flag to the person immediately, lol.

the cotton threads is just one goods among many i notice having impressive high cost compair to the standard cost . let look it this way for a example . Logs and cotton and those 'resource' type goods ment for Crafting . if you buy a resource for such price as 3k then go and make a item with standard price is only 1,2k . then the crafter ofcourse want to cover his or her cost ...resulting in yet another crazy price like 5-6k or the like .

it a evil circle in my eyes , with is why i ment it would be best if the game itself had some form of limitation as max price connected to the standard price . it would bring every one down to more reasonable deals and maybe even keep the worth of going out to buy resources goods and craft .

also would bring more character into the 'zone' of when they can aford to deal with other people instead of it being a almost excotic thing for old and high lvl characters so to speak , again no offence here :)

Hehe, alot of it is really silly.
I don't know, maybe if other shops could see the prices of what others have, maybe it could lead some kind of competition for lowering their prices manually. Everybody IS after the lowest prices, right? <.< >.>
But I think when people random pull numbers of out their *cough* they want to greatly profit themselves then the buyer. Then again, they are players, not business people. ;)
And anybody can have a sign up saying 'cheap mats' for only 4k!+ lol

If you dont like the price look for some where else to buy, or leave your computer on over night and buy at what you think is a reasonable price.

Your point isn't invalid but something to consider - Ancient Belial Soul (or whatever it's called in PWI) is a rare gold drop from an incredibly difficult boss in HH which will require a hiero or two....and you need two of them to make the level 9x power gold weapon...this mat has an npc price of 100 gold, unless thats been changed, so 200 gold for it might be a bit under priced :)

but to prove your point, last I saw in MYEN they were selling for 80 Million and up each.
