I'm currently a lvl 20 archer who's going to be a pvper. So far I've been following a PURE build with +4 str of current lvl and the rest into dex. The question that I have is if lvling two skills that aren't used in pvp to lvl 3 hurtful to my SP for mastering other skills needed? The two skills are frost arrow and blazing arrow, both at lvl 3. I'm pretty sure that those skills are rarely used in pvp but I got them to help lvl up a bit easier. But now that I got my lvl 19 crossbow from fb19 quest, those skills aren't needed as much anymore. I don't know if it's worth rerolling a new character or just continuing on. If getting 2 skills to lvl 3 and not using them in pvp doesn't hurt me in the future, then i'll just continue. thanks in advance for the help.

    i dont think you should reroll your character esp if its just "spirit" that was used for skills. it'll take you longer to get to level 20 than to make up for the spirit/coins used to get both those skills to level 3. frost arrow doesnt need to be any higher than level 5 because it gets replaced later on with aimed shot. also for blazing arrow it does come in handy later on while facing metal based mobs as it does an extra 40% fire damage.

    Will blazing arrow and frost arrow ever be useful in pvp though?

    frost arrow is somewhat useful in low level pvp. but as far as end game from what i've experienced it does become an absolete skill. as far as blazing arrow it does make a significant difference if at later levels you attach certain soulgems to your weapons. i think its ruby for extra fire damage. but honestly with both skills at level 3 your not hurting yourself as far as spirit points go. if you do want a strict pvp build there is one great guide by ambition.

    yeah, I've seen ambition's guide, but it's still vague on skills. there's certainly other skills that are as or more important than the ones which he gave.

    what I really want to know is a full pvp skill guide. the one's which ambition gave didn't cover everything.
