Updating/patching works fine, log in fails

Hello,

I downloaded the client on Tuesday, but, due to lack of time, didn't get around to actually installing the game until today. I verified all the files during install, and the game launches perfectly. It doesn't give me any errors until I try to log in to the game. At that point, after entering in my log-in nick and password, it tells me that I am unable to connect to the server. This happens whether I choose Heaven's Tear or Lost City. I'm not sure what the source of this problem is. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

    I am not able to log in atm but they might have maint going on.

    Hm... so no one can log on right now?

    I still cant log in to lost city... been down for atleast 2 hours from what i see. Is server maint still going on?
