Anyone else find it funny this game is pro beastiality and pro-interspecies relationship.

Even funnier is they dont allow same sex marriage or same sex embracing.

SLIPERY SLOPE if you ask me.

I find it much more offensive that different species are hooking up in this game. I mean cmon this is supposed to be a perfect world. Aprearently the developers ideas for a perfect world are either really into beastiality or are hardcore furries.

    okay, I will bite...


    Different set of values, and yeah.... different culture...(remember, PWorld is.. errm, Asian.)

    edit: (In the PW context, they dont see it as Beatiality per say...lets face it... PW chars dont get to have sex.)

    but rather.. cuteness.

    The fastest way to point out why your perception is... errrm, yeah... not how it really goes/what they see when they designing this...... without typing in paragraphs or refer to folk stories (both of which I can write essays on..) is to think: Japanese Cosplay....Cat-girls... maids...school girls and stuff...


    yeah.... it is just different set of values of cuteness.


    but is perfectly normal if you think of it within the cultural context PW was created in. (granted, is not Japanese.. but the region ... yeah.... similar stuff)


    my girlfriend sometimes wear cat-ears... so what? shes cuter when she cosplays....but it doesnt mean I am doing a cat....I dont look at her the same way I look at my pet cat.

    Stranger indeed is the fact that people travel to asia just to have **** sex and underage sex i just dont get it. Its in the media all the time here in the US. Asia is like the **** pedo-meca.

    DO PW characters get to have sex?...

    no....

    and if so, I am pretty sure that most Asians would be disgusted by it..

    Do (with the exception of the barbarian) those characters LOOK more like humans or animal?

    think about that for a secound...
    now think about....

    the costume...

    it is an North American culture motif..

    but it is the same thing.



    thats why your initial statement is... well, making mountains out of molehills.

    All im trying to say in this post is that in game you use the embrace feature between species and can use the in-game marriage functions interspecies and yet female/female and male/male cant.

    That just seems reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly strange. I would think people would be offended far quicker at the idea of different species getting married then two people of the same sex.

    Here in America the anti-**** propoganda states that if **** are allowed to marry then whats to stop someone marrying an animal etc. But in this game they skip right past the **** marriage and striaght into animal / human / elf marriage.

    It just seems realllllly strange that this is the perfect world that the developers have created. You can definately do a little fruedian analysis and come to some interesting conclusions.

    marital relations with animals is Illegal in all of East-Asia





    India and southeast asia.... you get stories...in rural areas...

    which often raises eyebrows... or done in name only to applease some local deity




    but rememeber...

    PW chars are NOT having sex.... XD

    hence is a non-issue...



    as for homosexuality...

    remember, the "****-revolution" only happened in North America and Western Europe...



    we are the ones with strange values if you look at it from a majority/minority view.

    Conspiracy theory: PW was outsourced to Indian development house. Indian developers sneak beastiality feature into game.

    I am sorry I did not realize that the offense to bestiality and interspecies marriage was an American thing.

    I am sorry if I have offended those into bestiality and to those who have indeed married outside the human species.

    No, the developers of Perfect World are Chinese.

    The PWI staff is an American subsidiary of a 4 year old game. From what I can tell, the PWI admins/gms/translators are American. PWI did not code the game. The whole marriage thing in the game is just silly anyway, IMHO.

Unless the Humans banished them from their land because they were so discusted by their strange ways. AND if this was true there is no way that they would get married, they would hate eachother. It just doesnt make sense that they are wearing "costumes". This is a cut and dry case of animal loving.

    You already stated that in India you can marry animals.

    Beastiality seems to be something the developers and creators of this game are into.


    Edit: each RACE has its own lore so the costume idea proposed earlier is false.

    Again, you are looking at it from your perspective...one that from what I can gather fits with a Western one..

    where alot of things are.. Literally the way they appear.... where in game, it literally means the character.

    What I dont understand is how is interspecies marriage ok in this game but not **** marriage. Priorities are all off.

    I am not debating you on the furry lifestyle that you chose to live. I am talking about the mechanics of this game.

    if they do decide to change the code.... theres also issues with rating and stuff.


    remember, being an online game.. it crosses mutliple municipalities and governments.


    each has their own set of rules that governs what is appropriate in video games.


    you have to consider that too.


    remember, video games do get banned/ratted Adult/mature based on very trivial (in my opinion) things.

    at least in this version....

    I cant see it being banned anywhere.....


    or given an Mature/adult rating...


    *I think god I live in Canada... where people have more freedom than the states and everywhere else..*


    yeah, there are so many variables as a company they have to consider.


    is not as easy as to say: "change the code" and be done with.

    What's funny is that in most of those states, there are no laws against bestiality.
