Spouse?

Can someone tell me what a spouse is and how to get one. I know there is another thread but no one answered the question :(. Finally homosexual couples, are they allowed or not? Thank-you:D

    Marriages do occur and from what I understand it costs about $30 (real currency) per person. From another thread, it appears same sex characters cannot get married.
