If anyone is into anime, Watch the series called Saikano.

Id call you a lier if you didnt start bawling out crying sometime during that series, or at the end. That series messed me up for 2 weeks.

As for me, (apart from the obvious "chick flicks" lol) I am Legend had me crying. Full Metal Alchemist made me tear up a fair bit too, it's just such a beautiful story.

Lol I remember when me and my friends saw the first pokemon movie, there were so many kids in the theater, when Ash died, I have never heard so many kids start crying in my life.

I'd have to say, for an anime, the series Chrono Crusade made me sniffle at the end when they both died. In my opinion, it was a mixed emotion between sadness and happiness.

Also, Into The Wild was kind of a sad tear jerker, but he died doing something he enjoyed and never regretted.

dub = the sound track has been re-recorded in english
sub = original sound track with subtitles.

Also the end of "the bucket list" :`(

I know what dub and sub are lol, but in some anime like Sailor moon a lot of it was changed when it was licensed to the US. That is what i'm asking.

embarrassingly enough during the song Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel back in 1978 or so when i was a kid, from the movie Watership Down.

needless to say i've hardened up a bit since then.

Not a movie but a short Japanese tv series which I think ought to have a mention :3 -- "Zettai Kareshi" (direct translation "Absolute Boyfriend") based on same-titled manga by Yuu Watase. It is basically about how a girl buys a robot lover and then realizes all the implications of having a boyfriend who's not human. But as time goes by, she becomes truely touched by the robot's love for her. During the last two episodes the waterworks just wouldn't stop! Nuuuu it's supposed to be a romantic comedy!

Hmm for movies....... the first movie to make me cry was "Titanic" XDDD the instant where rose realized jack was dead i was like "NUUUUU!!!"

"The Green Mile" made me cry too, especially the execution at the end T_T

OMG! nothing gets me bawling more then a good tear jerker. I almost find it cathartic to release my emotions through the silver screen.

anyway my favorite film to release the 'floodgates' is BEACHES. OMG! Bette Middler gets my teary eyed every single time without fail.

THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS (Bette Midler)

It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way,
you always walked a step behind.

So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name -- for so long,
a beautiful smile to hide the pain.

    CHORUS:
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and ev'rything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
but I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it,
I would be nothing with out you.

    (CHORUS)

    Fly, fly, fly away,
you let me fly so high.
    Oh, fly, fly,
so high against the sky, so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you,
    the wind beneath my wings.
