    I'm sorry that you can't grasp the fact (and I shall repeat this for you, again, because you can't figure it out due to your whole pseudo-intellectual superiority complex to hide an inferiority complex beyond that of any forum warrior) that PvE servers have no remorse due to the fact that no actions can be done to them by other players and therefore PvP servers, generally, have a better community because of it. It's the fundamental philosophy of if you don't have to connect with people and can lead your own life the way you want. Typically, you'll become an ****. Enjoy being KS'd for the rest of your garbage career until you /wrist over that "super awesome drop" you were farming for months on only to have it taken by some random scrub.

    Totally. The failkid just wants to play the pity card and berate people. I'm more than happy to join the fun.

    I only allow tickets to be solid if I get 85% of the profit base. You can keep the 15% for promotion fees. ;)

    What were you expecting? seriously. If I was guy who enjoy kill stealing on a daily basis then this post would just encourage me more. But I'm not and most aren't to...again most kill steal happen by accident, you might need some acuity on this. KS is not even a big deal anyways, I mean geez you know people who play on PVP to PVP but not abuse it... they get PVP abused on them and thats what they have to deal with.

    There's many different types of people that play this game, just like there's many different types in real life. Learning to adjust to any type of person is part of life and it's part of the game.
    Instead of reacting, which is human tendency, responding is the right way to go about it.
    You wanna see frustration? Try starting a barbarian character, where from lvls 1-19 you're mainly in areas with venomancers. It's about a 10-to-1 ratio. They have ranged attacks and pets that run fast to attack, and on a day when the servers are busy like today, it can be really difficult even getting a mob to fight with a melee attack, because the ranged attackers get there first. I never knew how annoying that can be, I have a venomancer myself. But I don't really blame it on them, they're just playing just like you and me. And the field of range isn't all that wide sometimes, especially if you're looking in the wrong direction.
    9 times out of 10 I'm finding it isn't intentional when someone goes after your kill, it just happens. And happen it does, often.

    Actually sometimes i do look if anyone's in the vicinity...I'm so used to Guild Wars automatic doaling of the loot and instancing that the fact that i may actually **** someone up on accident actually worries me... a little (For some reason, even though im a relative grumpy jerk to my friends, i can't be mean to people i don't know).

    On the other hand i hate it how people are killing one thing, then when i get a quest to kill something else in the same area, they've all moved on to that same creature.

    But that's called life, and i'm more than willing to wait my turn and let someone finish killing the monster, or collecting their loot. Besides the respawn seems quick enough that you could have just moved on.

    Long story short: I feel your pain...but get over, the world will keep spinning

    Ok, before this thread continues any farther, I have to say this to everyone (just in case)... Calm down people.
    KS happens, it could be on purpose, it could be on accident. I'm not going to say what happened to kwaters can't happen because sometimes strange things happen in games, my friend literally destroyed the physics in Portal, so anything is possible.

    However kwaters I must say you talk about people being rude and such and while some people could have shown a little more respect to you, you yourself are guilty of being very rude. Look, just calm down and keep playing, no need to keep complaining about it, it's part of the game and sometimes happens. Best thing you can do is move on and keep going. If it keeps happening to you, move to another area, most mobs have a fairly good area they hang around in, and before you go say something like "you don't know" I've played all the 3d free to play mmos out there, I've been Pked, I've been KSed, I've been Pked AND KSed at the same time, it's frusterating yes but coming on here to complain won't do much I'm afraid. Have a nice day, and don't think I'm insulting you, I'm not, I'm just trying to bring resolution to the situation in this thread.

    If that was directed at me, I never said I was better than anyone. I've been watching from the sidelines and decided to post my 2 cents. It's these kind of threads that make our community look bad, because they usually turn into these rediculous flame wars. I am just trying to have it be solved peacefully before a mod closes the thread and another starts to continue it.

    I am new to this game and what some of you do not realize is this is a international server. Not everyone here speaks fluent english on a college level i myself don't cause i hate typing so much so i use something called txt shorthand very much like the cellphone texting talk.

    Me being new here and reading this makes me want to leave and not play the game since people are overreacting for no reason its not real life. But i do agree there should be standards a person should follow but you gotta realize there are rude people out there and the ones that complain just make it worse.

    So please before insulting someone for f grammer **** take into consideration this is a international server not everyone speaks perfect english and noone is perfect if you were i would be very worried.

    Anyways if theres a Mod on the forums i think it would be best to lock and delete this since 4 pages consist of piety arguments and could very possibly turn people away from playing this Version.

    How about this: I was in Swiftwind camp when suddenly there comes a lv3 barbarian looking for help on how to get back to Lost City. I agree to help him and we start to walk back there and I kill the mobs on the way. Suddenly out of nowhere comes blademaster and cleric who start to pk me... whats the odd on that? I tell them that I'm trying to help this poor fellow back to Lost City and they say they don't care and still try to kill me (in which they failed).

    I don't come here and whine about stuff. It does not change anything. Stop the QQ rivers already.

    I kind of agree with the OP, people are arsehats ingame but thats RL too. People in general dont really care, this is the generation of not caring! So my only solution, be it a bad one, is to grief the **** outta people who do that.

    Generally, people like that dont make many friends ingame which leave them hunting solo. Since I am generally not solo, my group will usually just follow that person around till we have completed our task, stealing every kill we can. However, we only do that to someone who has repeatedly stolen kills/has become a problem.

    Problems like this can usually be taken care of yourself. Who do you cry to when someone is being a jerk IRL? Unless they are doing something illegal you either have to take care of the issue yourself or walk away.

    Does it really matter if someone KSed you? I am an archer and i have been KSed many times while i was charging up. If i see an arrow strike my target, i'll just hit the esc button to stop my charging and move on. And i am pretty sure i have KSed people before. No one is going to rotate the camera angle 360 before targeting.

    KSing is relative to the player I would imagine. Sure, it is awkward when two people strike the same mob but just do your damage and let the game mechanics sort it out. The concept of "its just a game" is better articulated as "remain calm". I am certain that if you find yourself in the KS situation often, there are many players who are convinced you are stealing kills away from them. Lastly, I would like to say that your far-flung assumptions about people's education and employment status demonstrate moderate to severe douchebaggery. You are not the only person in the virtual sphere who has a job or a higher education.

    Annoying things occur often, deal with them in a way that a consummate professional such as yourself should.

    EDIT: I sympathize by the way, I am a veteran to many games... you just have to deal with it, seriously.
