when attempting to patch it always stops at a file called badwords.txt
i have disabled firewall and tried every patch posted

    ive had that problem for a looong time, and still no help =/

    It has to be said that the tech support is non-existant here, I think I will just delet and not bother wsated too many hours already on this

    I had that problem and my fix was being able to install a chinese language pack from windows update. Either that or it was my reintsall of Windows Vista... or both. Some other suggestions have beeen to update your video card drivers, "manual" patching(didnt help me at all).

    Going to the game directory C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\launcher by default and running a program called "fixit.bat" has also been suggested.

    could u post a link for the language packs for xp on here cuz i looked for em on the microsoft website and google searched it and couldnt find it 0.o

    and i have run fixit.bat and it didnt do anything
