I've tried and tried and still can't patch

Okay, I downloaded the game and couldn't patch. So, I was told to delete it and redownload it. That didn't work. I even tried to download it from elsewhere, but no. Now that I got the game downloaded again, from the official site I've been trying to patch again. I saw that people have fixed the problem by deleting the file they were stuck on and then trying to patch and that isn't working for me either. I've tried downloading the patches on the official website and they either say they are corrupted or not the right version. So, where can I go to get the RIGHT patch because it seems everyone has a different patch and I have no idea which one I need and for which version I need to be able to play the game.

Important thing is, what happens when he trys to patch.

does he cancel the download?
does he not even start to patch?

What i think, its your firewall or router blocking the patch process.
alternative thing could be (whats more rarly) that your Computer Windows (or linux) Account dosnt got Administrativ Access, and he blocks the Patching too due to no Access rights for it.

If you got Windows, disable the intern Firewall, or any other firewall that you might have installed.
if you got a router, try to access his settings (or ask one of your family members) and allow the pw.exe to use any ports (don know the specific ports for pw now)

But redownloading the whole client never works, why should it?! you was able to install it, so the client files where not corruped.

Nope! I disabled both firewalls on my computer and it still didn't work. It's not my computer it's something on their end. Where else can I get the patch that I need to play the game?
