Non-PvP Guilds...

Why do people make these "Non-PvP" guilds on Lost City? It's the PvP server, why don't they make their guilds on the... PvE server? <- OMG!? PvE Servar, what tis dat!?

So I joined a guild this morning, not going to say any names...

I join up, and then later in the day I pk someone and they say, "Oh BTW, this is a non-PvP guild you need to leave." I told them that no one told me, and asked why it was on a PvP server and the "Guild Leaders Best Friend" couldn't answer that, all he/she could do was insult me.

Then later they tell me, "Oh well, you can PvP RageQuit members." I was under the influence that this was a... NON-PvP guild... Not a Non-PvP guild except one guild. They expect me to sit back and get PKed if someone makes an attempt on me...

So tell me, why make a Carebear Guild on a PvP server?

Double U, Tee, Eff?

    In the beta I was in this guild called Sanctuary. They told me that they were a non PVP Guild as well. I was really confused since it was on a Pvp server. I guess tehy gain respect that way or something. But the people who lead them are usually really strict about a Pking and hold these huge audiances if someone reports one of their members. If your on a Pvp server expect to get messed with.

    I know there is some legit reason they do it but i don't know for sure. ask one of their leaders.

    Sanctuary Guild if you guys are still out there I still wanna join regardless if you Pk or not. Add me pls.

    My question to anyone would be. Why the hell would you want to play on Non PVP? All the action is on PVP. People **** me off when they do that.

    just join another guild?
    and give me the name of the guild u described so i can kill them when i see on of them :p

    pking can be for many reasons. personally i prefer pk server so i can kill kids with huge mouths, those with huge ego's, and random ks'ers. i dont go around killing for fun, unless the other person welcomes it. some people share my views, others do not, but on a PVE server ur forced to listen and watch without being able to 'vent frustration'.

    Well... why do people join the PvE realm and go PvP 24/7 ?? :confused:

    There are LOADS of those on PvE rofl..... i guess its because they are trying to look smart :D
    Tho most of peops are laughing at those wannabe PvP nubs...

    The reason of the PvE guild on a PVP server might be following: Heaven's Tear was designed to be a West Server, Lost City East. That's the reason why events on Lost City take place a lot earlier. Since there's only one server East/West so far you need to chose what you prefer... Playing the Game Mode you want (PvP/PvE) or being able to participate in events. For Europeans the event times on Heaven's Tear are quite late.

    Lol why worry about it, just let them do what they want and you can do what you want :D Unless they KS you then rip there head off and toss it into a volcano :P

    I fully understand your reasons, and the feelings behind them. Regardless it is generally those same people kids with huge mouths, those with huge ego's, or in some cases their parents credit cards that make PvP for me nothing but frustration.

    Ever played Lineage II? I started in beta and quit when you could no longer step outside a town without the 'expection' not merely the posibility that someone had a bow aimed at you from a place of concealment to hit you the moment you left save zone. It did not help that they commonly did that ouside towns where the players would be 20+ levels below them.

    Sorry just venting MY frustration, I can understand people liking to PvP, and I can understand people wanting to honestly compete, I just prefer to avoid the near inevitable ones more interested in finding victims than challenges. (sticking to Heaven's Tear Server)
    Perhaps the greatest secret to getting along with others lies in learning to respect their opinion(s) even while you disagree with them.
