Please tell me thats not 11pm PST... 2am EST..
We're argueing in guild if the war is at 8pm or 11pm PST, it would make more sense if it's at 8pm but according to the map its 11pm...
Can a GM please tell us what time it is at ?

All times should be listed in PDT so... yeah...0

Hopefully it's a typo of epic proportions. Or an oversight.0

2am to 5am EST. thats the tw times I had to make in my-en (or 7am...) and this is supposed to be the USA/International server...
I came here for a few reasons and having a decent TW time was one of them -_-0 -
Go to the official site.
perfectworld.com
Click on Territory Wars on the right side of the page, scroll down and find the Schedule:p

oh. well don't I feel stupid. never thought to they'd have a schedule on the site..lol well good its not 2am.0
-
Server times are EST. So it is 11-2 EST, not PST.
Regardless though the times are a bit late, it should be pushed two hours earlier.0 -
Indeed at least make it somewhat more bareable for our European brethren. 2-5 AM for them. 12-3 sounds a lot more bareable to me.Previous Character: Tres_Iqus 95 MG

If the events are 2-5AM (Eastern Standard Time), then Euro times would be 7-10AM (GMT). How is this not bearable? They have the advantage in that regard, I would say.
And to those complaining about the TW times: Why? So many of the events are set for times that are during peak USA times, but they change it up just a little and Americans take a **** all over it.
Yeah. Its an International Version (Not USA + World or something). The servers are based in California but its open to all to play.darthpanda16:

You guys need to learn a little bit about the server. This site is PST time, hence when you look at the TW schedule on the site it'll say 8pm. If you're in the server you'll notice that the daily quests will reset at midnight EST time.
I don't really think it matters because I don't even think you will be able to get into the TW. Reason for this is simple. So far none of the daily quests actually work, meaning horse race, forest ruins and whatever. I think the reason for none of this to work is because they set the server to EST time, but it is actually on PST time in some way or another. I can assume this because the daily stone quest begins at midnight EST, but you can't actually take the quest until midnight PST. Horse race can't be entered because the quest to enter begins at EST, but you can't actually enter until three hours later PST but it is long over. Same with all the other quests. I believe the same will go for TW. It'll start at 11pm EST, but I don't think you will be able to enter until 11pm PST, meaning it'll already be over.
I'm just following patterns, I could be wrong.0 -
Justice i say, if europeans are denied TW then everyone might as well not be able to. At least maybe then the admins will realise the prob and start doing something about it.0
-
ok Haiz already said it and I'm being told in guild also that the server time is BUGGED to be in PST. that war will actually be at 2 to 5am EST.
Because eunice starts at 12 EST but it doesn't WORK until 12 PST...
if thats true..FIXXX IT !><0 -

It is impossible to cater to everyone at all times. This version of the game is located in California, so times are based on that region. Planned events will be inconvenient for someone. If it's so much of a hassle, I'm sure you could play PW-MY or wait for the Euro official to start.0 -

I've been worried about that. I'll end up being even more disappointed in this server if it ends up being like that also. -.-[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Anywhere between Saturday morning to 3PM would be great for all time zones. I'm not sure why this hasn't been reconsidered yet. Sadly this time is bad for Europeon players. GG, I was hoping some guilds would randomly attend TW so I can see the time.
I hope it'll be reconsider for next week TW; that's when I'm planning to attend. But if it's the same I probably wont. Most of my guildies that is Europeon is most likely going to quit if the time remains the same.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Makes sense, these were originally the "East" servers that the only difference was supposed to be the even time. Perhaps when they dropped the East/West designation they forgot to fix the time all the way through the system. So we're missing big chunks of the game, but at least we have "less ping" and "non corrupt GM's". Way to go PWEnt![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Well unless something has changed, there were some TW's done near the end of closed beta and ALL of those wars started based upon EST. (The ones listed at 8pm EST started at 8pm EST, and so on and so forth).
In addition, players were able to get in, because they were suprised to see the level of the monsters they had to face (needless to say, no territories were conquered in CB ). So, unlike the daily events which are obviously out of synch with the time zones, it seems that unless something has changed from Closed Beta to Open, guilds will be able to enter the war when the appropriate time comes based upon EST. (Let's hope at least).
For those complaining that the times will be inconvenient for certain areas of the world, you are right. It will be. The only way around that is to add new servers that are based upon different time zones.
The war days are spread out over three days (Friday - Sunday) so that guilds and players can spread out the time dedicated to the game, rather than lumped all in a day or two (later when more guilds get active this will be more apparent). To try and run "all time zone friendly" multiple start times through out those days would gimp others. Example, a "prime" playing time of 8pm for someone in the UK would end up being either 3,2, or 1pm in the States, and Friday wars would leave all those players either at school or at work.
EVERY server will have these issues, PW-MY, even though it lured people in with it's "English" title, catered specifically for the Malaysians, a 12 hour time zone difference for east coast US players, 15 for west cost. We just participated when we could, because it wasn't (couldn't) be feasibly altered without leaving someone out in the cold. Only a new server dedicated to those time zones will alleviate the issue, but in turn, pass the issue on to other players from other time zones.
Unfortunately, people interpret the "International" part of PW-INT to mean whatever suits them (all nations treated equally). International, by definition, simply means more than one nation. I am sure if it were feasible, there could be a euro-time based server added to the PW-INT server list, but that would take a large enough player base to justify (paying player base preferably), and with the upcoming PW-EU, I just don't think that will happen.
This might not be what some want to hear, but it is what it is.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I dunno 6-9 pm PST , 9-12 pm EST, and 2-5 am GMT didnt look quite so bad to me lolPrevious Character: Tres_Iqus 95 MG

The time is horrible, period. It's always defaulting at this time until multiple siege sadly. This needs to be earlier; A LOT earlier if you want Poland/EU to stay in this server.
Not just that, but lots of EST players can't even stay up for TW cause it's so late. PST is fine.
Change, this time blows for almost everyone; just erase this time.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
www . rochq .net0 -
Bump it up and it may be too early for the west coast players. 9-modnight is just fine for this east coast player, and I'm sure it's fine for any east coast player whose mommy doesn't make them go to bed.
Sad to say the EU players have to stay up late to participate.0 -
This server is mostly based in USA/Europe. there really isn't a GOOD time for all places. if you make a decent time for EU then west coast players will all be at work or school (on fridays anyway), same way other around. so it would only make sense to go inbetween with EST. like maybe around 7pm EST, that would be 12pm? GMT, 4pm PST tho a bit late but seriously the best way to suit the time zones.
As it is now tho, it suits PST only.. and those strange euro's that actually want to wake up at 7am on a weekend!(weirdos ;p)0 -
So it'll remain the same I'm assuming?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

If you look at the TW times for Sat and Sunday there are earlier periods but like it wont happen unless lots of TW are going on. = =Previous Character: Tres_Iqus 95 MG

Maybe the upcoming patch will help.. who knows?0

I'm giving this thread a bump. This time is killing Euro players and some players that is around 5AM for TW. It's really pathetic and sad.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Don't take this wrong but this is USA based and its primary intent is USA. It would be pointless to change it for EU, since they getting own version, and TW will be geared for EU players.0

sure, but this is still the INTERNATIONAL game, and they said, they will make events suiting differenents time zones (TW also). So they didn't keep their word.
Some Europeans won't move to european server cause they already leveled here, and don't want to start from the beginning, for the 2nd/3rd time.
What will they do to this group of customers?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
