I will listen to practically anything. I'm not into classical or jazz though. For some reason I like listening to foreign music sometimes even though I can't understand it. My favorite is pop, hip hop, and rap.

Everything and nothing. I've got the firm belief there's at least one good artist in every genre.
Take rap for instance. A lot of people don't like rap (can't spell **** without it), but if any of you haven't heard of Lupe Fiasco, take a look at his lyrics. They go back to how it was when rap first came out; he talks about small things like--oh, a simple story about a kid sometimes. Or they can relate to politics and how the US is fairing. Here's a sample of his lyrics from "American Terrorist" just to prove my point:

Close your mind,
close your eyes,
see with your heart,
how do you forgive the murderer of your father?
the ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of a martyr.

Pretty deep compared to most of the artists we have wandering around now, hm? Even if that's not what he believes, I like the wording and the way he presents it.
If you like Lupe Fiasco, you might like some of the songs Nujabes cranked out--he's (or is it a group?) is famous for their crazy-eight beats in Samurai Champloo and jams with other artists. A good song to take note of is "Lady Brown" or "Feather".
Oh, and maybe the usual. Everything and nothing else. :P That includes people like Akira Yamaoka and Nobou Uematsu.
