Auto and Manual patch fail

Ok i have downloaded the manual patch 3 times and tried all that stuff darthpanda said still not working. When the auto patch goes it goes really smootly until it gets to 015.dds or 026.dds i can;t tell if its freezeing or if these files are just EXTREMELY BIG so ya.......

    The auto patcher wont patch. It gets so far and fails. Im really about to just wipe this game from my hard drive its been nothing but problems from the community to the issues the company itself have caused.

    Despite the issues some of you are having on here, there are thousands and thousands of players enjoying the game and not having any issues.

    Most common problems that are getting solved, and some are headaches for the users:

    Your antivirus, firewall or security software isn't allowing the IP addresses for the game. Please see the complete IPaddress list on one of the Stickies for the game and patch server.

    Your ISP or school is throttling your bandwidth for the game's IPs addresses, or restricting it too much, the game will not function correctly. Or download correctly. Or patch correctly. Contact your school or ISP if your own computer networking problems aren't the issue.

    Port 29000 needs to be open on your router.

    Plugging your computer directly into the cable or DSL modem sometimes bypasses the networking conflicts you may be having.

    Run multiple antivirus scans on your computer.

    Download and install the CORRECT version of the game, from this website, www.perfectworld.com.

    Don't have any other versions of the game installed on your computer.

    Don't run a ton of apps simultaneously while running the game, especially if your PC doesn't meet the regular system requirements.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    No, this is on your end. I run an internet gaming center. I know my configs. Everything is working just fine and other games are running like they should. Its on your end. I was able to play just fine until today. I hadnt downloaded your latest patch and tried and it keeps failing. Its nothing to do with our system here. Its on your end. Its amazing how it was working fine and then you patch and its totally not working.

    Its working now. No idea what was changed but I was able to update to version 8.
