Bug in quest?

In the quest warries of the banker- gather the materials, when i collect element dust it still write 0/5 even if i have 10 of them!
Is it a bug or what?

    there are two kinds of element dusts. their names are exactly the same. but if you were to look at the last line of the item description, the one the banker is asking for should say something like "an item for dragon quest (21)" The wrong one will have something like "one of the five element compounds".

    The one you want is 800g the one you don't want is 120g merchant fodder.
