Why cant I use allready deleted character names?

I made a character with a name I liked, but... I changed my mind, deleted it & whanted to re-make that character with a different class. I know that in 30 sec that name couldnt allready be in use, so Is this a glitch or ment that way!? Can people use the names of allready deleted characters?!

    as far as I remember it takes a few days to remove your character, if you waited those days to remove it and its now gone from your list and you still cant use that name. That means that the rumor bout all names you use stay in the system no matter if the character that was using them was removed or not.

    Unless I'm mistaken, when you delete a character, it goes into an "inactive mode" for 7 days, during which you can change your mind and take him back. I'm pretty sure that you can take the name again after that 7-day period.

    No you cant! Thats the problem here!!!!
    I did wait 7 days like youre supposed to... but still cant use the same name(I know it wasnt taken...took less than 30 sec for me to try to use the name)!
    Now I`d like to know is this a glitch or ment to be this way!?

    Its meant to be that way, once the name is used it can never be used again as I said before on my previous post.
