CRC Failed?!?!

I keep getting a message after downloading the installer for PW that says "CRC failed in Perfect World International\data2.pck File is Broken" what does that mean and what can i do to fix it? please help me

    My fiance is getting roughly same error after downloading the 4 part download ... we tried the other downloads and they all say they are corrupt when we try extracting the zip files.

    When he starts the self extract it gets up to the data3.pck and its gives out an error and closes and tells him the files are corrupt and that he needs to download them again.

    I had no problems downloading when it was closed beta client but now its just not working anything we can do?

    first of all, what are you downloading with, and second, what are you extracting it with?

    i had the same problem, but it fixed after i used a download manager like flashget, and extracted it with 7-zip may also fix the problem. If ur just downloading with firefox or opera, it may have a higher chance of being corrupt

    i am downloadin using IE and un zipping with 7-zip. the file was reading as cruppted b4 i downloaded 7-zip but now it is saying it is broken. is that the same?
