Beginner Elf Wing Quest

I started a Elf, bow class and got into a killing spree forgetting about my level..and the quest, I think, given by the Elder to get the token to test your flying ablility's never came up. Im lvl 7 now...I was wondering if anyone tested this out??.....I cant fly for too long because it drains my mana pool...Without the quest my mp drains per second just flying around without fighting. My Cleric doesnt seem to have this problem, then again I did the quest the moment it popped up. I am thinking that I am probably too high of a level to complete the quest anymore that it disappears???

    I never tried an archer, so I wouldn't know. But just like you, I didn't have a problem with my cleric.
    Before I started the game I was told flying takes mana, but when I started I found it strange that it wasn't true. I guess clerics are special ? o:

    Just go see the elder, she will still have you quest, it just doesn't pop up on find quests.

    That quest won't fix the archers' flying problem. Archers and Clerics are very different classes. Flying is simply one of those differences. Clerics start off not having any problems with flying because they are really good with magic. Archers don't have that kind of magic ability, though. The answer for this problem is to raise the magic stat points high enough so that your mana regeneration is equal to or higher than the rate at which your mana is drained by flying. After that, you will only need to add magic stat points as you choose.

    Clerics have a higher mana regen then archers. That is why they do not lose mp while flying. They regen more than they spend on flying.

    or, if you want to be a decent archer... don't listen to them ^

    just wait it out/use a few pots until level 30, when you get brown wings and won't need mana to fly

    Flying takes 2 mp per second, but unless you have an extremely low Magic stat you will regenerate more than 2 mp per second and so it appears that it is not draining any mp at all. However, if you get into a battle (and your mp regen drops to 25% of normal) you will notice that your mp starts to drain.
