Perfect_World_International.exe has stopped working?

I've downloaded the client using the Direct Download on the website, and it created an application file in my Downloads folder. When I open the file, it says it has stopped working and fails to do anything. I'm using Vista Home Premium in case anyone has encountered the same message. What do I need to do now? Thanks.

    Try rightclick on the shortcut on your desktop and choose "properties" no look around there for something called "compatability mode" and select "windows xp"

    If that fails, check the "run as administrator" option.

    General things you should also already have done is to make sure you have an updated antivirus such as AVG (free.grisoft.com) on your pc.
    And make sure you have no spyware on the machine (you can use malwarebytes antimalware for this)
    aaand of course you need some kind of 3D card to play this game, if you just went into your local pc store and said "i wana pc" and took whatever they gave you chances are good they sold you a POS.

    I checked the compatability box for XP (assuming that'll work for Vista) and ran the program as an administrator - no good.

    I built this computer myself, with a 4850 graphics card and McAfee antivirus installed. So that couldn't be the problem... I've also played a couple of other similar MMO's on here, so it must be game-related.
