Ok Somehow their is this "safety lock" The is on my character and my friends. It disables us from being able to put on equipment and other stuff like that.. anyone know how to turn this lock off?

    yea make the time like 1 minute. Its only for when you log in.

    By default it last one minute after you enter the server.

    It may last longer if you modified the timer.

    hmm the question is that how can we turn in off if we put like 30min or 1hour
    and later we want to turn it off for some circumstances

    The only way to deactivate it is to wait until the lock releases and reset the time.

    You cannot turn it off once it is set.

    i hate this safty lock i have my bag full and i last set my lock for 4 hrs

    I think my safety lock is bugged. I never altered the setting on any of my characters. It was fine yesterday when I logged out, but when I logged in today for some reason it's now set to 24hrs. I've tried to modify the time to 1 min but everytime I log out then back in it resets back to the 24hrs -.-

    Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way I can contact a GM or someone who could possibly check this out for me? Thanks for any help in advance =D

    I am having the same problem. I have my lock set at 24 hours and if you log out, it resets back. This is really ruining the gameplay experience for me, since I can hardly do anything and have a inventory full of goods. It isn't possible to speed en up the process or disable it completely?

    the safty lock is stupid, it shuld be that you set it when you log off to protect your char when you are not playing. ie if you go to sleep set the timer for 8h, when you come back you can play fine, but if some1 logs in when u are sleeping they cant do jack. the way it is now its just stupid

    You're absolutely right. I think it shouldn't be applied at first, I don't think it benefits the majority of the players and should be optional. In my case, I DID make a mistake, but I should be able to undo it or something. If something happens at all, the timer makes me wait another day..

    To make our lives hell. On a serious note I would guess something like parental controls? it limits the game severely though, hope my issue gets resolved soon.

    The only way to fix it is to log in, Wait until your lock releases (in your case 24 hours), then set the time to something else.

    Well, like I said before I can't even stay logged in for 24 hours, I have tried but to no avail. I get booted for just staying on and I don't even think you are supposed to do that anyways. The problem is it reverts back to 24 hours EVERYTIME I get logged out. I will never be able to stay on 24 hours consequately. If it can't be disabled then I guess I am done playing this game, love this game but can't enjoy it with all of the restrictions of the safety lock and not a darn thing I can do to fix it. I hope somebody can!

    Quoting a mod from a rival forum:
    It has a minimum 1 minute setting. If you decide to increase the setting, please be aware that the new setting will take effect immediately, but you can only REDUCE the setting after 3 days.
    Waiting sucks, but if it can get you back on PWI then it will be well worth it. Hope you guys get this fixed as soon as.

    if you set it to 24 hrs or 99 hrs you should probably contact the customer support

    Good luck getting any results from customer support. I sent them an email explaining the situation and the only response I received was that I will have to wait 3 days...... They never even addressed the fact that I didn't even apply this feature on my account.......

    What I did do though is change my acct pass just in case someone decided to play the jokester. The rest is just a waiting game.

    Another question for ya about this...is it suppossed to be a character specific feature or once it's applied does it affect all of the characters on your account??????

    It applies to all the characters on your account, at least it does for me since I have already trieaid. I give up, I am deleting the game I guess since I can't get support. I had 21 out of 24 hours until they decided to shut down the server for only 5 minutes, then what happens? it goes back to 24 hours once again. Keep being told the same thing, yet people are failing to see the big picture, I can't stay logged in 24 hours, it just won't let me. Right now I have a full inventory and I can't drop anything, not even a item I need for a quest, it is pretty stupid, don't see a reason to continue if I can't get it resolved, and its a shame because this is a great game.

    What level are you? and why don't you instead make a new account and spend the time getting your levels back? Just a suggestion. =]

    I have already made a new character on the account, don't see the need in making another account. I have thought about it, I also know that making more than one account is not allowed. I guess you can say my level is relatively low but still. Also, I fear the same problem would happen again as my lock was already in effect before I did anything to the lock.

    Well I can see I'm not the only one having this issue. Though I did it to myself and set it for 5 hours. It does make playing the game a lot harder when you can't really do anything with your character. Now I contacted a GM in game about it, and there isn't anything they can do to fix, as it is a security feature for your account. That's all well and good, but honestly I think it could be better implemented. Such as, using another password word that only you know that's different from your log in password that should unlock it, and if you forget to unlock it, then when you go to a shoppe or trade it auto pops up asking you for it, and if you don't know it then it cancels whatever it is you are doing.

    Now the GM said it would only take 3 hours before any changes to the Safety Lock take effect. But according to the game it takes three days.

    Now you can see what the GM whispered, and what the game says. Now if this has been changed to 3 hours, then it needs to reflect it in the text message. If not then the Safety Lock needs to change or be removed. Parental Controls I feel is the worse thing to have in anything, because it take the parents responsibility to raise the child, and gives the keys over to someone that is not in the business of raising children, but running a game, and making it enjoyable for everyone. As it stands right now it's not enjoyable, but that's my fault. ;)

    Yes, there really should be a way to turn it off entirely. I have no use for it myself and while mine has not acted up on me (it is still just set for 1 minute) I find even 1 minute to be annoying. When I get disconnected from the server while in consignment shop form I would like to log back in and go right into shop mode, but I am required to wait 1 minute. Obviously this is not that big a deal, but it is still an unnecessary annoyance.

    I've same problem , why don't turn safety in OFF, i have safety turn in 10h during 1 week and i can't turn in 1 min.

    HERE is how to disable the lock you may have set it to something else well CHANGE IT ONCE to 1 minute and leave it if you get kicked off or anything do not reset it back to 1 minute it will reset the 3 day wait for the time to go back to 1 minute after 72 hours have passed from the reset to 1 minute you will get kicked from server with your new time of 1 minute wait
