[Guide]You want the real "Perfect World"-Theme to play always?

As I always hated the alternative, that the international Perfect World gives us, I looked through the Files and the System and found out how it works and ripped a musictrack right out of it.

So if you want to just play the "Perfect World"-Theme (the real one. The Japano-Pop-Songlike) just do the following:

  1. Download the original Song renamed 3 times:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/142517631/real_theme.rar
  2. Move it into the following folder: c:\path\to\perfect world international\element\music
    So for example: C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\music
  3. Extract the RAR-Archive exactly "here" and not into a subfolder.
  4. Start Perfect World and be happy :)
Hope you like it.
I just can't stand the other "Themes".
If requested, I can do this for every track to here on Startup. :)

    Try not to double post
    1. Scroll up to your post
    2. Click Edit right underneath it
    3. Type in what you want to add

    Other than that thanks for the link! although it would be easier to find the song on a site that "doesnt" make you register to download anything. I.E. www.mininova.com But before you do that make sure messing with the files like that doesn't violate the ToS. Otherwise I suggest just turning off in game music via settings and playing it outside the game.

    I dont understand what we're doing here? You're changing the music in-game to play only the main theme song? Dude, i would get so tired of that song, i'd explode. Lol, reminds me of how morrowind was, you had like 3 songs on that atleast. One song the whole time, would eventually make me just turn it off. Putting all this work to waste.

    i mean this song is okey but to listening it ALL DAY?????? my brain would melt thru my ears
    (btw music is "okey", but the guy sining is like good-old backstreet boys :D:D long story short - ewwwwwww >_< )

    This is not the "real" theme though, it's just the Malaysian soundtrack. >_<
    I never liked this song, a bit stupid.... Other versions have much better soundtrack ;)

    I wonder why there are two themes in Chinese, probably one of them is Taiwanese soundtrack??:confused:

    I can't stand that song. It's painful to listen to. I'd take a loop of the PWI version anyday but the staff ain't willing to release it to public :mad:

    A loop of an unbearably annoying song throughout the entire game? Nothx. Worst game mod I've ever seen.

    If you really like that song so much, turn off the music ingame and loop the song in your favorite music player in the background. Simple, no worries of ToS violations, and you can change songs at any point if you want(something that the ingame music system doesn't allow)

    Sorry for my "offtime".
    I didn't knew that the international handles music another way and it's NOT! in the "whole game".
    It's NORMALLY (tested on MY and worked fine) only the titlescreen and nowhere else, but if the Team uses the "THEME"-Songs ingame to spare 15 - 30MB it is really not my fault. Normally the CITY-Themes are taken out of another folder/file.

    Rapidshare is just fine for one file.
    Just click "free" and wait a few seconds and you can download.
    No registration or something :)
