Client Server Status Down But Website Server Status Says Up

The client WILL update however it WILL NOT connect to one of the two servers. It shows no ping for both ingame and says unable to connect after 20 seconds. I unblocked port 29000 like in the announcements. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Have you also added the PW program itself to the exceptions list of your firewall and/or antivirus programs?

    I would also like to add that "Having trouble logging in?" sticky actually links to the "Server Connection Failed? Can't log in? Can't patch?" sticky which has nothing to do with server connection or logging in, only the patching part for at least 10 pages. (I didn't go through all 27 but that is rediculous for a sticky)

    Many people seem to have the same problem but no help can be found on those posts either.

    port 29000 is open in my firewall as well, and im running game version 5. I can't think of anything that could be blocking it.

    You don't just have to open the port, you have to make sure you're not blocking the program as well.

    I have this problem too...my connection is from a college dorm..

    You may have to talk with the Admin for that dorm's internet access and ask for them to change permissions for your room, or dorm. If they allow gaming traffic?? Maybe they have certain IPs blocked or throttled?
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    if you can update the client automatically with the patcher...should you be able to reach the server?
