The lost token quest help

ive looked for a while but where are the monsters u have to fight? they are called unstable essences.

    those are tough to find. Basically go straight up into the air from the quest giver, and a little South towards the mountains. They're hovering around treetop level. They look like Jaden Elfires, those little guys that laugh when you kill them. Good luck!
