Great job on another messed up decision, PWE. I'm playing on the PvE server and have had trouble getting my quests done because of the high numbers of people flooding the server. There are probably twice as many people in the fields as mobs (for the elves, anyway). This is much worse than PW-MY's launch. We need the other two servers. I can understand if they're just not ready, yet. But, they need to be available to players soon so we can actually play this game. I'm actually considering leaving because of this mess. It would be sad for the problem to fix itself because of people leaving the game.

EDIT: Note that the reason I posted here is just one of many for not liking the crowded nature of the servers. I just picked the most obvious one at the time. High numbers of players contribute to lag, create competition for production materials, and simply get in the way sometimes (like when navigating through Archosaur). I'm sure there are more reasons.

Well, the OB was just launched. I bet it'll be better in a couple of days.
And really, I started yesterday and it wasn't that bad.

I started OB today and it's bad. It's going to get worse before it gets better. Like I said, it would be sad for the problem to fix itself.

It's was kinda hard the first hour to get all the mobs you needed for your quest etc.
but I rather have 1000000000 people playing than ... an empty server.

LOL. With numbers like these, none of the 4 servers would be empty. :p

yeah lol , that wasn't an exact number just a number to show you my point.
you can just party with people rather than trying to quest by yourself .
anyway it gets better around lv19+

Your such a bad player for making this post - do you solo all day and not know how to send Squad invitations? Took me less than 7hours to get near 20. Could've been faster if I didn't spend time mining.

Maybe it's just because the open Beta just started, or more people than anticipated joined, but yes, there's quite a bit of people on the lower levels.
Mining is a ***** too, if you want to craft stuff.

Still, even if you like to solo, join a squad temporarily on the lower levels. It helps.
Or if you absolutely refuse to join a squad, take a break and come back in a week. Should be a bit calmer then. :)

If you are having problems getting the mob you need, party up. Everyone in the party , that is on the same quest will get the kill count. I was having trouble getting my earthen soldiers until i got a party invite. After that it took me about 10 minutes, i got every kill counted after that.

Even with my solo style of play, I often offer to start a party (squad) with people. It's surprising how often I get no replies. People like to solo. I guess it's human nature.

I think the issue is that when you just ask someone to solo you never know exactly what they are questing for. I was working on 2 quests killing in the same area, but had already done the earlier quest in that area before. I got a squad request and my kill count never went up except when I killed. I assumed they were on a different quest at the moment. No big deal, but if people refuse your squad invite it might be because they're not sure your after the same thing. Just an observation.

As for volume of players the first hour of open beta was outrageous. It took me about an hour to get the 10 beetle bloods in one of the earlier elf quests. There were people everywhere. Sometimes people just appeared out of no where or a mob just keeled over and no one was around. That's some serious overload, but I must say it was expected. If I didn't want to run into that issue I should have waited a few hours or a day until it cooled down. I flew over the same place where it took me an hour to kill 10 beetles (and get the credit ofr the kill) and there were beetle everywhere. Would have taken about 10 minutes. Now of course everyone is still on the same quest at higher levels, but its spreading out more. Bamboo Village quests were crowded but not nearly as much as the first hour of open. Give it a week and I'm sure it will be even more dispersed and easier to solo. (My preference - but if you can get level 20 in 7 hours - not sure how- then maybe my choice is the bad one)

One thing I did notice though and I'm not sure it's due to volume of players that effects certain items drop rates, but I had trouble collecting for the bankers mission to expand slots. In CB I easily got the items I was looking for, but I must have killed 40 beetles to get a single antenna and I need 5. Was the same for other items required. Oh well. Finally got them all, but damn!! I'll tell you that certainly set me back in my quests concentrating on that.
