Could it be the servers when we were testing like Closed Beta we were playing on Lost City and on the Open Beta (Now) we are playing on Heavens Tear could the problem be from the servers????0

Unfortunately, I can't help you, but have you tried both servers? And you got the same error on both?!0

the same thing is happening to me and my girlfriend when we play together, we can play seperately just fine but when we both are on we get DC'd (just one of us) Was wondering if they're not allowing multiple accounts with one IP?0

It was said earlier by one of the admins that you can play the game on 2 different pc's as long as they are both able to play PWI. As far as Ip's go, when you connect to the game I think your computer has a different IP address than your ISP, so from what I understand it connects based on your computers IP not your ISP but I could be wrong. Maybe it is your internet?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

sikozu, if 2 people play on 2 different PC, they have to use a router to be able to do so. Which means, both PC are forwarding the data to the router and the router sends it to the gameserver. See what it leads to? The gameserver sees 2 connections from the same IP and disconnects one of them (or both).
Should this be true, they will lose a lot of customers. Got to try it with my brothers.PW has been endless frustration for me #2

We are using a router and 1 of us or both of us get disconnected BUT that did not use to happen on the Lost City and it seems to be happening only on the Heavens Tiar so i think the two servers are running on different machines with different settings and that for those that play with other people on the same internet connection it would be better to play on Lost City also i hink it is just the server since it disconnected me even when my brother was not playing0

was really looking forward to playing this with my GF, she loves the look of this game, but when we both log in (heavens tear) one of us gets disconnected while the other can move around and attack just fine, we can play WoW and Final Fantasy XI together without anything like this, I really like the game and would like to play it with her0

I tried the PvP server, and mixed and matched to see if it was the servers or not but we still got DC'd. I messed with settings on my router and we have no firewalls on and still got DC'd I'd like to see an official word if they are limiting accounts by IP or if its my ISP0

A router is a box that hooks to your internet and splits the signal wirelessly(or locally(cable connection)) into separate IPs so that more than one object can use the internet at one time.
I don't think it's IP at all. The router wouldn't even be a router if it didn't send out more than one IP. I think both of you disconnecting simultaneously is coincidental and that your problem may lie in either the quality of the router you own, the quality of the internet you are using, or your computer's system being able to handle the game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

yes a router gives out IPs but those IPs it gives out are only local IPs they're not global IPs (IPs seen on the internet) your ISP gives you an IP, this address is never duplicated in the global internet0
