character login problem

well my computer stopped responding so i did the ctrl alt del thing and i exited PWI and now when im, trying to log back in my account it says im still logged it



EDIT: i can now LOG IN but when i try to access my character it isnt logging on to the server ( heavens tear ) it says "could not log in server" then it says " disconnected from server " !!!

    I get the "Could not connect to server" message and then it says "Disconnected from server" :(

    Yeah im currently experiencing same issue, cause server froze or osmethign and i ctrl+alt+delete

    Happend with me. I closed the client ones more and then it logged in, but when I selected character and clicked "start" it only stuck up... :S

    was talking to my guildmates at the moment the game stuck up so I had to ctrl alt delete. The chat worked fine, but everything else stood still, and about half of the guild had the same problem... Servers?

    I'm guessing the servers haven't cleared all their connections on their end after they dropped everyone, either it'll fix itself with time, or they'll reboot the servers.

    Yeah, same problem here. I'm guessing it's pretty much teething problems, seeing as it's still within day 1 of the Open Beta. So here's hoping it's fixed soon. :)

    Me and my sister got the same problem. Suddenly, everyone stopped moving and our characters couldn't do anything else as walking around and chatting with squad members.
    Then, we both logged out by activating "force". Now, neither of us can log in. We get the same message as you, boombox.

    Misery loves company. I'm having the problem , too. Must be a server problem.

    Too many new characters I guess ;)

    people, this is what happens with free games. as they say, you get what you pay for... it happens, just try again in another hour or 2 *shrugs* free games are free for a reason ;)

    Maybe they found a bug or something an are trying to fix it so they booted the servers.. or too many characters at once ~shrugs~ maybe they'll have the issue fixed soon though so the servers will let people log in again xP

    Same here, though I did't used ctrl+alt+del - I used "Force Exit" option in system menu

    This seems to be on Heaven's Tears only because I could log into Lost City without problems.

    now it goes to the character selection, and when i click start it says i can't log in, and i was just starting to like my archer:(

    Aw man, that means it has to be the server. Hope so admins look into it FAST!

    Meanwhile I'll be creating a dmg cleric on Lost city

    I'm rather relieved to see im not the only one with this problem, i thought it was severe lag as i am from Europe but now i see alot of other people have this problem it's cheered me up a lil bit :p

    I didn't even control alt delete.

    I was with someone else and we could still talk to each other......just not move or anything.

    I was hoping it would go away if I waited but I guess not.
