If Possible Can I Get Price Of Zen

1 or 2 hours before OB starts I was hoping if I can get the price of zen, or if we will be able to purchase zen before OB.:D

    According to a developer in IRC a few days back.

    $1 = 1 gold
    htink we got them to lower the heiro prices

    yeah, bronze heiros will be 50 silver
    sliver heiros will be 1.5 gold

    Removed said developers name. Last thing I'd want to do was get them in trouble. He never mentioned anything about gold heiros.

    Even if the Zen would be 1 = 1. They still could have lower CS prices than MY-EN to compensate it.

    Well, the silver hiero will sell for 65% higher than in MY-EN....

    Wouls surprise me if something would end up cheaper.

    I'm with you, but I think the underlining point that poster was trying to make is that if an item cost 1 gold and you have 1 zen left after the purchase you will have zero zen correct? So in essence 1 zen = 1 gold, 1 zen = 100 silver.

    Anyway I'm still not sure on the dollar to zen ratio, but in no way, shape, or form should actual currency as the U.S. dollar have an even transfer rate with in game zen. If you don't work whether it's because you're underage, disabled, spoiled, won the lotto, etc you may not comprehend how outlandish this is, but if you're employed in any nature you'd probably be with me. As I stated before I'm not sure of the rate, but if $1 = 1 zen I either won't be playing, or will keep zen purchase to the absolute minimum.

    Actually 1 gold = 100 zen. Take the free zen, it's 5k zen = 50 gold. The discussion was $1=1 gold. Considering the prices, the item mall as it stands now looks about 3 times more expensive than the PW-MY version.

    Personally I like the new cost of Zen. In MY-EN prices were so low I ended up making WAY too many purchases and wasting money. With 1 Zen = $1, it's much easier to not give into impulse buys or spend too much.


    Though to be fair, they have shown that they are able to change the cash shop prices so I'd hope they lower everything a bit across the board.

    But are those prices what things Will cost or what they Did cost... There was talk about them lowering the prices of stuff on the CS. Which shouldn't of happened until OB was released, which hasn't happened yet.

    So unless I'm mistaken the prices you saw are not the final price things will cost.

    Yeah, if they listened to me, hieros would either disappear completely or be nerfed seriously :/

    Other than that, I don't mind high prices since I don't think the cash shop items should be available like candy but rather to be used on special occasions (like TW).

    The MY version of the game was $61 USD for 200 gold. This 1 to 1 thing is really gonna cut down on my spending, and I'm the guy who runs around wearing all the different fashions, pets, etc.

    They won't lose customers, we just won't spend the kinda money we did in MY.


    EDIT: After thinking about this for a bit I have a question for management....


    If I decide to buy 400 gold right off the bat at 2pm today and you decide in a week to lower the price, will I get a refund or at least be given the difference in gold? This is the question that will determin how much and IF I pay for anything.

    A GM on EU server already said their cash shop won't be more expensive than MY version and EU doesn't have IP blocks so a lot of people will just move there

    To be honest, if the gold buying exchange is that expensive in PW (considering prices in mall) I wouldn't want to continue if I need to spend so many $ on the stuff I wanted to buy from Mall.
    If you make more than 1 character, your're gonna spend hundred's of $$ on characters which by all means is kinda dissapointing. I'd rather pay 15$ a month for World of Warcraft again. hmmm

    Someone in IRC got confirmation that 1 gold = $1, and that silver hiero will sell for 1.5 gold, so $1.50. Same item in MY-EN cost $0.90. That's a 67% increase in price.

    So far the CS prices are similar, so yes the gold price does get taken into affect by people.

    They will lose customers, many people including myself said they would not purchase anything at all if it was more than the MY servers cash shop, and those who would be spending money are more likely to spend alot less, which means they are losing a ton of money all together.

    Yeah, they already said the actual CS prices were being lowered a bit, but thats still alot of money in comparison to what alot of us were paying on exsisting servers. I left a level 89 WR behind to come here and start over, the least we could get is a bonus of some sort to make things a bit more equal to all the time and effort we are leaving behind.

    Am I being unreasonable?
