start up error

I am unable to start the game client. When i click start after a few seconds i get this error message.

When i click ok the launcher closes and nothing happens.

Here is my Dxdiag info. I wont be able to check this until this weekend so i cant give any more info until then.

    control panel -> regional and language > install east asian languages

    i installed the east asia languages and i still get the same error

    i downloaded the game on my desktop and am able to play with no problems other than a little lag. my laptop has better specs and i get an error. installing the east asia languages didnt do anything. is there anything else i can do to solve this problem?

    I had the same prob. The fastest way that i know that might work is delete the game from the system and i hope that you still have the download client reload the game. If that dose not work then make sure that you have all updates from windows and that they are current and reload the game that is what i had to do on my desktop. I did the plane reload on the laptop and it works fine:)

    Check the websites for your laptop's manufacturers and research to see if there are certain issues that are cropping up similar to yours, and see if they have any system updates for your model of laptop. (these are different from Windows updates).

    Please make sure your laptop is above the minimum system requirements (http://perfectworld.com/download - scroll down the page), because the game is not laptop friendly with how some GPUs and CPUs change their voltage to use less electricity. This can result in a variety of errors.

    You may also need to change your laptop's power saving settings to not be in power saving mode while playing PWI.

    Don't have a bunch of programs, or ideally any other programs running while playing.

    Check your security, anti-virus and firewall settings and see if they are restricting the game's traffic or CPU/GPU access.

    And please be nice, and not re-posting and bumping the forums. You are not always going to get an immediate reply, if one at all, until we, or the community, figures something out. If we can't reproduce it on our end and solve it, we aren't going to post anything most likely.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
