Pros and Cons for Blademaster

Basically post your knowledge and or past experiences of the good and bad sides of the Blademaster class.

    Hmm.

    Pros:
    - Good at PK due to stunlock(Axe BM). This requires a lot of skill, however.
    - Excellent damage-dealing class(Blade BM). RedLotus Blade (90 gold) is insane.
    - Very good solo character.
    - Invincible if paired with a Cleric. Can do solo-mode HH with just a Cleric and himself.
    - Fun to play
    - Reasonably wealthy
    - "Leech class" in HH. Fun.
    - Godly in GvG Territorial War.

    Cons:
    - Not enough HP to tank (unless +12 armour/WB-buffed. Can backup tank.)
    - PKing is difficult.


    Very excellent class, I'd say.

    Yeah. You can keep someone in a state of eternal stun if you use Lion's Roar, the axe stun, and the Aeolian Blade skills.

    Yeah. I duelled someone who was actually able to pull that off for a bit. It's not easy - I escaped it halfway through and beat the pants off of him. Oh, one of the stuns only has a 50% chance to succeed - so you have to be lucky for it to work for a long time. It's very effective if paired with a spear's ranged power if you want to PK.

    PKing is difficult - We can't say that.

    PKing at air is difficult is more correct.

    BM is a very good class on land. Not much strong in air.

    lol me2 ^^ but Elf archer for life :D also have a higher lvl elf archer and i never get bored of them thats why

    :) depends on how you play them, its very different from other classes thats why it never gets boring.

    Sounds like fun. But think ill expirement with blade master and werebeast classes first.

    Venomancer. They have recovering HP and MP spells, they can solo HH. Anyway, they become a bit expensive as you will have to start lvling pet skills.

    EAs are also quite rich if they don't zhen.

    LOL it is obvious he wnats ppl to play blademaster and not the class he plays.

    so many things in his posts are so moo it's not even funny.

    Yes blademaster is "good" at a lot of things. In fact they are only "mediocre" at them. There are other classes who will do better.
    Good at PK and also difficult at the same time? any class can beat blademaster if they hit and run (except barbs, but they can beat u without running)
    Excellent damage? lol, it's is IN FACT mediocre compared to other classes, but yes u do have better AOE damage.
    Very good solo char? LOL compared to what? venos? wizards? archers? they are mediocre AT BEST.
    solo HH with cleric? yeah of course, unless u want to take 1 hr or more just to finish 1, and u need to be at a lvl ALOT higher to do this successfully.
    Fun to play? hm.. i think thats just YOUR opinion

    just so sick of those ppl who try to convince ppl to play a certain class for his own gain (or what he would believe anyways).

    He tried to convince ppl that archer ammo is expensive too, but finally the truth prevails.

    LOL~ damn it's really hard to choose a class.. I really want a good solo-character + party character for PVE and PVP/TW character. in short.. I wanna play an Assassin Type character.

    sounds like u want to play an archer, but archer aren't exactly party friendly, they can be replaced by another DD class, for example a veno.

    in short, there is no class that's good at everything (but barbs do have overpowering advantages compared to disadvantages)

    actually, BS isn't that godly as stated at the first statement..

    the advantage of BS to other classes is their powerful AOE skills (yet to mp, and a waste if used at 1 or 2)
    their slighty more powerful physical attack than Barbarians but archers may be more powerful in terms of this, considering their atk spd. They can tank but not the tank that a barbarians can do...

    well, gotta admit, they have 1 deadly skill which can kill u in a blink...i think it's called "flash" at their later lvl...
    archers, cleric, or the types which has a low vit can have a sever dmg by this skill....(SWORD TYPE)

    an example by using this skill
    BM pvp class usually are spear/axe or sword type (i'm explaining a high lvl one here)
    they will reduce ur phy def by their spear skill (GLACIAL SPIKE) then they will let u hit him until they are nearly dead then cast FLASH on you (sword type) or for axe type, well, their stun lock skills....i think max of 10-12 sec (not sure) then aoe....

    but veno will not have that a hard time on BM cause they are the 1 on 1 specialist...their only prob is the leap of bm, aside from that, nothing...

    very fragile in magic atks...

    overall, BM is just like the other classes which has their own strength and weaknesses (i dunno bout veno, aside from money drencher at later lvl)
