Need help deciding between Cleric and Venomancer - pros and cons of both

im trying 2 decided which class i should go with any help plz????

    ok Venom's are good at soloing and god DPS

    Healers are more support and partys

    venom's are fun and strong!!

    Healers are strong but limited but they are great support class

    all dependents on what u want to do support or assist!!

    personally i love both class!!

    if you are just starting your advanture with PW i would advice you to go with Veno. not only she is very user friendly, lvl very fast, is cheap and you got both power and a nice body guard keeping you alive :3 not talking about a cuuute cat like creature your venomancer can be!

    Venomancers can kill any mob type easily, so its easier doing quests.
    As for levelling faster, theres really not a lot of difference once you get up to the higher levels and have to do a lot of grinding.
    Priests can solo air mob casters just as fast as a WF, and in some ways its easier because you can kill single targets in packs, whereas venomancer has to send pet in which will agro the bunch.

    Same for mage.

    Priest will also get a lot more instance runs which will boost the xp.

    Priest also gets zhen parties later on, although they may be a bit expensive on this server.

    I had a tough time deciding between cleric and veno too. I usually like playing healer classes, but I also like having a pet do all the work and just nuke stuff from behind :3 Basically, clerics are the best support class, and venomancers are the best solo class.

    In most games I play a healer, but I really fell in love with Veno's.

    I was told that post 60's, venos have a hard time levelling. I assume this is due to the fact that they have little to add to a group and solo levelling is a pain at that point, where a cleric has a ton to add to a group and can be in the group levelling forays. I played a cleric and veno in CB and find the veno a much faster/cheaper leveller. Your gear will take less damage because your pet will do all the tanking and you use a ton less mana meaning more up time. Clerics are definately higher damage toons though. 1v1 a cleric will kill a veno every day of the year, unless he's a useless build like vit or dex.

    it's only couse veno are excluded from zhen parties from with after 60+ most of exp comes in dungeon parties veno are actualy a must since they are best lurers out there ( they can pul 1 mob at time while 2nd best lurer archer will always pull at least 2 or more)
