Can't Connect to servers

I'm having a bit of connection trouble. this isn't the first time i've played many many times before today. no caps lock. updated to game 4 version client. i've even reinstalled on a different drive still nothing. when i select the server there is no ping times there just the dashes checked my firewall my router and cable modem. anyone got some solutions ? ADMINS PLEASE HELP !!!!

    hehehe cancel that... i had peer guardian on it was blocking it
