maybe im wrong but i think that there are some players who cannot use their prefered name bacause charachter restriction in the case of names of course. maybe you should rise the limit from 9 to 12 for example.

    Yep totally agree. just cause of the 8 letter name thing I cudnt use my preffered name ingame.

    The character limit is that low because in china one character would mean a whole english word lol, in china there is plenty of room, elgish, not enough. I would also like to see stall name lengths get bigger, it really bugs me short names. If we had long names though, it might take up too much room :(

    I would like to use more than 5 letters for my pets name and more than 13 characters for my shop name

    Well the GM's said that the character name will be longer than 8 letters. Let's hope that this will be the case in OB. And yea, I'd love to have a longer name for my pet.

    Also, the shop description is quite short.

    I vote for longer names with both hands :) BTW my new nickname is exactly 9 letters.
