Open Beta sep 1st?

Would be a really good idea if it could launch September 1, 2008 because that's labor day. This means all working citizens in the U.S must take a day off work/school and this will probably bring more people in the open beta then launching right after labor day where everyone is back to work.:cool:

    Well, that also means that the people working at PWE will have the day off too, and therefore can't launch the Open Beta. ^^;;

    I don't think they will change the date. But its a good idea though,
    my school begin the 2nd and then i wont realy have time to play pw.
    I ll try to make some free time on my time table...

    well they could at least open it on a weekend =/

    LOL wow.. that was perfect. I didn't even think of that when I read the OP's post, but it's completely right.

    And actualy.. much as I could sometimes wish it otherwise.. many in the US still do not get hollidays like labor day, christmas, ect. My husband is millitary often getting christmas off is a rare treat. (Last couple years we were lucky and got to pick between chistmas and new years.) Also, police officers, security and some other labor jobs don't get them either. (However some of those may get some overtime for working them.)

    Made me smile for a moment though at the idea. (And a smile for me is rare ever since this last sunday.)

    christmas your not supposed to get a day off anyways not even my mom does sometimes even tho i dont celebrate it labor day all fifty states us citizens have to take a day off they are not supposed to work and lol yea i forgot about the ob launch becuase they would be off XD

    well i think it should open on the first so all the americans can go on it and so can the uk becuse in the uk everyone is back to school on the 3rd so they cant go on it either becuse they will be in bed early for school

    Many people are off on Labor Day. I'm guessing this includes the PWI staff. The game opens the day after for a good reason, I think.
