Better pay a monthly fee then paying 1 dollar/1 euro for each 1 gold...

When I look at the ingame shop and the gold prices I think the following. First of all I assume it would be in europe 1 euro=1 gold...that's always the way its working, but unfair since a euro is 1.5 dollar. This Zen-rate would kill this game since if you buy a few things a month in the cash shop (and you need to do that for full benefit of the game), you could better buy a moorpg with a monthly fee...then you don't have to buy anything in cash shops cause you get already anything and even more like better graphics, more support (although there are always paying mmorpgs that are diffrent :P) etc. And 50 dollar or 50 euro for a mount is a bit to much don't you think.......Better change the rate to 1 dollar or 0.70 euro for 10 gold. Then you pay 5 dollar or 4.5 euro for a mount which is enough. You will easy gain more money with this system then with the current 1=1, since more people will buy Zen when it is that low and will spend it more often :P

    why dont u assume each zen will cost 10 euro? then you can complain even more - its win win!

    realisticly tho, just stop creating "omg the zen is too expensive posts" Wait till OB and wait till you can actually see the price.

    Instead of making yet another post on the subject, why did not you read the previous ones?

    The Admins said prices will be adjusted for open beta.
    Frankieraye said : "we can promise that we will work to improve all facets of community, engineering, and customer service to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again."


    (We are still waiting to see any improvements or changes beign implemented. More empty promises from PWI?)

    TBH if it's gonna be 1$ = 1 gold I would rather pay 15$ monthly fee... I wouldn't mind paying it

    i belive the issue here is not exactly about the ZEN price but in overall diffrence cashshop vs monthly fee. and to be honest i prefer that secund one also. its like another pay check and it suits me. one time each month i just pay and i dont care about the rest. with cash shop one month i could not spent even single penny and above all from what i see you can play this game without any cash shop items but the gameplay will be very poor. its cool when game is F2P with some nice bonuses and addons for ppl who want to pay for them. but what meaning have a F2P when you NEED to buy cash shop items to fully play the game? hell then just make a cheap subscribtion which i will pay and spare me this F2P nonsense.
    (ofcource leave that bonuses as they are, like custom items or fireworks)

    I agree 100%

    The game is great, but in order to play it to its full potential you have to pay real money, which is fine. But don't make it so expencive that it COULD risk the life of the game.

    I like the idea robert gave for $1 = 10 Gold. Either way, the game i great, I just hope the payment parts will be a lot more lenient.

    hmm i dont see how ppl can make such posts about things nobody is 100% sure about yet, i no it seems like it will be a lot for zen but we dont know that till the admins say and fyi there is a way to get zen through the auction house with in game money but im going to wait till i know the prices b4 i start complaining , as karmelia said (The Admins said prices will be adjusted for open beta)i asume thay will be lowering the asumed price from what we think thay might be know
