During my journey through the vast jungles of the Forum. I ran across an individual who asked what a "RP GUILD" is. I have Posted my reply to this Question below because I think that there are players who don't quite understand what a MMORPG is.

First off, Since you asked this question I will have to Explain things that I am guessing you do not know.

Perfect World is a MMORPG. One of many in fact. A MMORPG is a Massive Mulitplayer Online Role Playing Game.

As you SHOULD plainly see, RP stands for Role Playing. Given the fact that Role Playing is part of the games genre, it can only be expected that many players will want to gather to RP. Thus, to make this search easier, a guild is formed.

Now, it is also a fact that some players shun Role Players. These asinine individuals of course fail to see that the they themselves are playing a game designed for Role Playing and if they were to use that peanut sized brain that is rolling around in their skulls, they would noticed that most of the quests in the game have a story to it and that the game itself has a storyline.

Now, are there anymore questions class?

In my opinion, everyone who plays an MMORPG is an rper, regardless of whether they're in an RP guild, a PKer or just a random solo grinder who despises rpers. You're playing a role, that's what the game is about.

With that said, people who consider themselves to be rpers and act all butthurt when everyone else doesn't like them are still ****ing ****.

If you find yourself in a situation where you are role playing and no one likes you, here are some likely reasons why:

    A) Its possible that you are just a very poor Role Player. (like how the people on American Idol think they can sing.)

    B) Maybe no one wants to here you and you're filling up the chat window. Try using a chat other then general. (If Cyberers can figure it out, so can you.)

    C)
    Maybe your being annoying.

    D) Your on a PvP server (thats where the PKers are dumb@ss)

On another note, Is Cyberers the correct term here or is it spelt differently?

Umm, I play an MMORPG and I don't RP at all.

Because I play to terrorize lil nerds like yourself in my spare time.

Actions by RQ have led me to believe this, so RQ members get out of your conceited, stuck-up, world revolves around you, World ok? I like to imagine MMORPG means what I believe it means.
Many Men Online Role Playing Girls.

    That's why F2P games usually auto-destruct.

Uhm! Does that vast, sweeping statement include those of us who are happily married, kids, grandkids and a healthy active "wooo hooo!" life? Cuz if it does *stabs you with a cattle prod* Wouldn't you'd rather be staring at a woman's butt as you spend those long dreary treks from point A to point B (if you're a guy) or would you prefer eyeballing a man's butt? If you're a woman, it can go both ways which leads me to a statement I'd like to make but due to certain restrictions of what can be written, my point kinda falls flat on its face. hehe:D

Yeah, MMO's are like RPs, but you don't fall asleep while doing it. In fact, I play PW when I'm falling asleep, reading makes me fall asleep, seriously. Ever wonder why people read books before they go to bed? XD

I really prefer not to RP, because I find it extremely boring =\ I'll stick to writing and MMO's kthx.

    ~~Edit~~

By the way, I'm a girl who has a guy character, what do you say to that? ): I also heard somebody in-game say that if this one person was a girl, she would have maxed out her ****. Thats ONLY true if the girl is self conscious about her physical features, if she doesn't care then shes not going to care. =3

There seems to be many debates...

    1. Being a girl character can go both ways, depending on the player's personality and style. If the player would be an active imaginative and likes to role play he would normally choose the guy. He would most likely admire his character's strengths, "coolness" and power in the game. Another way would be making a female character, this player may just want some casual time, some fun time and rather enjoy something it would find more appealing, he of course have no interest in acting out his char, unless he's **** or is something I don't know what to call. Vice versa.
    2. Roleplaying, as a MMORPG everyone who plays is roleplaying, your in whole new cyber world with a character you just created. It just depends on seriously you take it. A more serious player would enjoy acting out his character with the words it may say, causing some drama and entertainment. A less serious player would more likely dislike roleplayers, and the vast majority, standard normal people who takes the game as a new chatting place and interacts wiht other people around the world. Then there are the silent ones, who may or may not have mental issues and seek out the darkness to haunt you!
    3. It's a matter of opinion, everything is.

We can even go deeper into psychology to search out the player's true gender, not that it matters and do some research. Get a life, who cares what's the gender of another cyber world player? Yes, out of curiosity or maybe some friendship but "cybering" or falling in love, or whatever there might be is gone to far, in my opinion. As long as you have fun, that's what entertainment are for, to entertain you. Not in that way though. :)

I like reading, but only well thought out, mysterious, in-depth books or roleplays. Maybe news to some, but old for others, there are roleplaying sections or forums out in the web for people to roleplay online, and have fun. Also improves your English and language.

Anyway I see you meant most normal standard girl characters wouldn't bother to stay still, thus a man must create his own to admire. xD

Anyway most games are more likely appealing for male, it's a truth or lesbians. Hopefully I'm not the only one that notice many RPGs out there have half naked, sexy looking female toons everywhere.

    LOL wow XD

Yus, my friend made a rogue on Ragnarok Online and commented on how awesome their "fishnets" looked, so obviously he was "checking out" his character ;DD Though of course if I were to confront him, he'd probably reject ever "checking out" his character XD They always do that >w>

Yeah thats quite true XD I just loveee the outfits, I find them kewt <3 Though they must get cold with their lack of clothing ):

    ~~Edit~~

Ooo, I just remembered something. There was this talkshow that was having an interview with one of the women from "Sex And The CIty" and she said when she was doing this one movie the director said "BOUNCE!" so she'd start bouncing around XD Just remembered that when I said "they move around alot" XD

Didn't read this past the first post, so if this has been said... Well... Too bad.

I lead a guild full of people who flame RPers. Know why?

Because RPers (and I'm generalizing, but you don't become a stereotype if it's not a vast majority) think that their **** doesn't stink. They think that everyone else playing the game is inferior. They think that "normal" players aren't fufilling the "rpg" aspect of the game. They think that PVP/PK based players are "just kids with superiority issues who want to feel big on the internet."

RPers are, as a general rule, tremendous *******s to everyone who isn't an RPer. And so we're *******s back. If you walk up to me like:

"Excuse me, Lady Pandora. Where can I find the local blacksmith? I'm meeting several other adventurers there."

    I'm going to be like

"Look, you RPer ****, the average player isn't an RPer so don't talk to me like I am. You're welcome to play your game your way, but if you talk to a player a bit less blunt than me all you're going to do is weird them out. Think of it like this, you're the **** guy going around the mall approaching normal guys to talk about how you love it from your boyfriend. That's great, that's your choice, but talking to people about it makes them uneasy because nobody who isn't like you is quite sure how to respond to that. So, if you're talking to someone that you don't know is a roleplayer, shut up and get out of character for a few ****ing seconds. It won't kill you.

... The blacksmith is at 241, 821. Use your ****ing coordinates."

I sense that you and your guild have bad pass experiences with RPers or it could be false and RQ just want to be the evil sides. Anyway you could've easily just told them or ignore them. There maybe ignorant overacting RPers but I fail to imagine why would they feel superior...

As for PKing, like I mentioned on the other post, and why would RPers hate Pkers, its part of the game, its another role in a way. Your in-game just got attacked, now just act out the part about you dying >.<

hehe! Ahhhhh! The great male tradition of female warriors being dressed in most revealing armor. Hey! Its great to look at, but I feel sorry for any woman dressed in chain bikini bottoms with matching chain bikini top. Either she'd be one heck of warrior who's blade you wouldn't want to match or she'd be...dead!! Not much protection there. hehe! But its not all like that. Drawing artists such as Rojo (who is just so dang awesome) has numerous pictures of women running the gamut from wearing next to nothing to armor which reveals next to nothing. But yeah, I'd have to agree that MMO's and character design caters to things like that. But let's not forget the number of women who pilot female characters that wear next to nothing and from what I've seen, there are quite a few..:D
