Ok, I asked around a bit In-game only to find that even the veteran players didn't know most of the functions in the game (by veteran i mean they played other versions). From the information i gathered you can not add a socket to equipment without using a cash shop item, Correct or false? If false, then how.
Xenobeast blood is used to Manufacture equipment (not upgrade as in Mirage Celestones). Correct or False? Basically I'm asking what the heck to do with this stuff ;)
Darkness stamps are used to increase your reputation by 4. No clue where the NPC is other than Archosaur. Using the little coordinate assistant will not help you find him. Wraith Hunter Hu (or lu can't remember now) is not on the list. So if you manage to find him, what is the reputation used for? Messenger of the sages says you need like 35k and lvl90 to get a weapon, but is that all it is used for? A few quests are kinda screwy as well, one quest tells you to go to a blacksmith. The blacksmith has no coordinates after his name nor are you supplied an arrow to show which way you should be going. The same can be said for a Mr. Yeh in Archosaur (no arrow just tells you to go to the dragon quest adviser blah blah blah). Anyone else find a quest like this (NPC really hard to find due to lack of the guide arrow or coordinates). Maybe we can help each other here. I'm just a little annoyed right now :(

    Sockets - you are correct.
Xenobeast blood - you are correct.
Reputation NPC - near general Summer.
Reputation is used to purchase high quality gear. Darkness stamps from higher level dungeons have higher reputation gains. You may also get them from monsters in wraith invasion events.
I don't remember not getting a quest marker for Yeh; if the blacksmith is in Archosaur it's probably the one in the north. There are 3 blacksmiths in Archosaur, one at the northernmost gate, one at the western gate, and one at the southern one.

The traditional way to add sockets is to manufacture an item. By random chance, it will either have sockets or not. If it does have them, they'll be listed next to the name of the item. Different NPCs will deliver different results, so keep trying. The ability to use cash shop items to add sockets is new. That option was not available on PW-MY. Honestly, if you really were talking to veteran players, they should have known that one. The only explanation is that it might have been changed so that only the cash shop method is available, but I doubt it. I haven't tried to do it in CB, yet.

I knew the bit about manufacturing the socket items , i was just asking if ....
lets say i had a 2 socket weapon, where would you go and make it 3 sockets. To this most just replied "IDK- i don't know".
Checked around in Archosaur and found the Wraith Hunter and where i could use the Xenobeast blood. Still lost as to where the stupid dragon quest adviser guy is, Incase your wondering, it is a quest from Mr, Yeh in archosaur (the guy obsessed with dragons). He asks you go to the "Dragon Quest Adviser" and "Inquire" as to whether he has a serious problem. Its like he is asking you to find a psychologist to diagnose his mental illness lol. Im guessing this is a bug of some kind since i still have no arrow pointing me in the direction of this so called D.Q.A.

Okay, then. The only way to add sockets to anything is with the new item mall feature they added. In fact, that's why it was created. As for everything else, you're going to find a lot in the game that seems odd or leaves out important details and such. I hope they eventually fix all of it.

There used to be forges (those pots near general summer) where you could make it.

For some unknown reason there is 2 rows of forges missing in PW-int *sigh*

There's no arrow for the dragon quest adviser because there are 3 dragon quest advisers. They are in the villages where your newly created characters are "born". Any of the starter villages will do, doesn't matter which race you are.
